I'm currently in 14 RR working with 9 Para SF ... they are totally badass , tried for para twice..on first time i was unable to complete probation and second time completed the probation with rank 7 but i was unable to complete my training due to knee injury.. hope will get maroon beret one day..♥️♥️

Tavor 21, PM MD90 and fab-def modified AKs are emerging along with the Indian Armed Forces.
Mod's on AK's are not economically beneficial on large scale. Thats why they are only seen in areas with insurgency.
These weapons looks emerging because we got to see them regularly.
But our armed forces are still filled with Bullshit INSAS.
We should go for Indian private arms suppliers.

vaise OFB is famous for protests during critical times. They were also on strike ( for some days) during this Indo-china standoff.
OFB is full of "Babbus", who don't know anything about Gun/ammo making.
In the last 7 days: 2 Killed + 1 Injured due to ammunition malfunction made by OFB.
That's why I also think Privation is very important in India.
@@keshav6530 agreed totally .... We have private companies whose products are matching even the international requirements also ... We could have gone for SSS Defence and that AK203 deal is still in stuck due to unknown reasons and our army is now planning to induct American made SIG 716i in more numbers for more than 400 battalions. I don't see any atmanirbhar here..... there's no meaning in it.

@@keshav6530 yes, an modern AK varient with milled receiver (which is more expensive compared to the stamped receiver which we have on AK203) costs over Rs 50,000 per piece whereas this AK203 which has stamped receiver and only few modifications including the barrel manufacturing method ( hammer forging method) costs Rs 75000 per piece. And also they have removed few upgrades like collapsible stock and erogonmic fire selector to reduce it's cost and even with simple design it costs Rs 75000. SSS defence made prototype based on long stroke piston is far better and cheaper as well than what our Army is looking at...... I mean Sigs and AKs.

Unlike other special forces..like parasf, garud, or Marcos spend years and years on training..RR is a commando unit, get trained on duty...they don't waste time on training..once they come to RR battalion..they go to operations patrol and come back and train for the next operation..seems like they follow the French foreign legion..24hours 365 days ..the soldiers will be in some kind of operations..seems like RR follows the same way..the Russians special forces consultant from KGB alpha group were the initial trainers of RR units..they brought the experience from Afghanistan and chechanya ..the truth is all the special forces in India come to RR to get on job experience..why I Love RR..because My uncle served more than 10 years..just left the army..RR is the only place you can see soldiers and officers from all army Navy airforce, and para military forces also.
@bone collector I was referring to garud and Marcos and crpf cobras come there to train but they don't participate in operations...
@bone collector you are partially correct..even though cobra comes under central armed police forces..the assistant commandant's go to cadet corps school in the Indian army which is under ministry of defence..I have seen myself crpf guys attached with rr for training not for operations..also I know that bsf and crpf directly work under indian army in some areas ..when the area of responsibility is under the army..SFF and Assam rifles work together since they come under paramilitary forces..
I don't think the special forces unit visit the RR to train
I think you meant the counter insurgency school or something
Anyway just so you know RR don't train people and every special forces operative of India has to participate in active combat duty in hostile environment to be inducted into service that's a one year attachment they spend with RR and every other elite unit they can find
@@skandpathak821 yes you are correct, RR doesn't train anyone..Most of the RR done their commando course in belgaum...other special forces spend some time with RR from 7 days to one month..just to understand more about the unique force..Not all the RR units go for CI ops..some are providing comm support, some provide armour vehicels..some from aviation unit..its the only only place which integrate all soldiers irrespective of regiments and units..RR does not comes under special forces category but act as a ci rapid strike force..I am just a civilian ..got these inputs from my uncle and juniors who served with my father.
@@Indtami You are bit confuse about RR .. RR is not a commando unit ...its counterinsurgency paramilitary force of Indian army.
RR keeps two types of training. First as pre induction training..at crop battle school of the region where skill are even out and CQB and other skills are taught plus familarization of terrain, local housing structure and atmosphere is done.
The second is continuous training or sharpening of skills done at battalion level at local training facilities of the region like firing range.
Any soldiers who are deputed to RR battalions get 1 month or so training pre induction training.
They are not required to go to commando school belgaum...for RR.
