Though I don't support international interventions, but sometimes I feel all countries like USSR, US, NATO forces failed in Afghanistan but if Indian soldiers would have been there, Taliban would have been finished by now. We have a very rich experience in counter insurgency since we have faced it multiple times in north east, punjab, naxal areas, Sri Lanka etc. As of current times, punjab and north-east insurgency is finished, and insurgency in kashmir is nearing it's end.

@Devil do you know how many soldiers have died till now in Indian territory even without going outside. That number is more than the casualties in all the wars india have fought. So that defensive policy is already making us lose more soldiers, we take hit and then retaliate instead if we should have hit the enemy first. Imagine if balakot would have been bombed earlier then there were chances of saving those 40 soldiers.
Nothing is there to win in Afghanistan. Because of that no country could win there. It is a land of lost. Once Afghanistan was also had an advance culture, then it was part of Bharatiya civilization. But it was thousands years ago.

Most useless special forces.. isiliye India age nahi badrahi hain.. Navy seals isko dekhkar crazy bolta... special forces should be trained with absolute fire power skills and combat like SAS and Seals..but our special forces do unnecessary backward things in training (rope climbing, long jumps,brisk walking, pull ups situps,dips, dhaba position fighting with empty rifle all 80s stuff) just setup a high-tech gym with food pills steroid. Train them in Krovmaga, give them hard training about medium and close combat, door to door operations, snipping, infiltration,underwater fighting skills. Train them to fly helicopters, infrared, UAVs, hacking and coding and (last GIVE THEM SHOOTING SIMULATION AI) they literally have to give report of how many bullets they fired in training.. I did a research about special forces during collage in rajasthan. Most worthless forces man🙏
