  • Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your TOSHIBA L755 laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
This video is like insurance for your laptop. With this video and some skills you will be always sure that at least you can try to repair your laptop. If it's broken you don't have to sell it or throw it away. You can find some new or used parts somewhere and change it. It maybe will be your new job or hobby. And if it didn't worked out you still will be able to ask somebody else to fix it.
So, just watch this video and fix your laptop.
    Have fun and good luck!!

Hi there, the most of you may know this laptop is suffering the hellish problem of "Audio disappearing after a minute". Toshiba never answered this since they are crap people but we know it should be something wrong between Atheros WiFi adapter and speakers connectors. Someone fixed this changing the speakers with a 2.90$ ebay sparepart..Are they easy to remove?

Have a pc like this one that shuts down randomly if it is booted to any OS. Could be seconds, could be minutes. It only stays up if I leave it in the BIOS it seems.
    Any tips?

On 5:48 when you took out the wire that connects to the laptop screen it does not show how it connects to the computer. What does the other end of those two slim black/white wire connect to?

In this video, your hand is covering the view when you disconnected a cable before you removed the keyboard tray. I really don't want to break that connector! Please describe in as much detail as possible how you managed that disconnection. It is not a normal flat connect, and it appeared you used a small screwdriver to pry it up from the side? Where did you pry? Up, twisting?

+David Goodnow I obviously don't have this laptop now and can't really tell without watching a video and do some other research, can you please tell me a time frame when I did it. Thanks

@@regazzz Posted date is June 3, 2013; unless you have a phenomenal memory you aren't going to remember a specific like that. I hoped it was something you saw frequently or repetitively enough with that and similar models that it had stuck--as for me, changing RAM in Apple Quadra 700 and PowerMac 7100 (lots of stuff to move + sharp metal edges that eat hands).
Thanks anyway, I'll search for a service manual.

This toshiba model is one shitty piece of tech. I have owned one for 3 years now and one thing after another keeps failing. First it was the battery, which was almost dead by its 2nd year. Then there are the never ending driver problems and wifi/bluetooth component trouble. Finally now I have a problem where the laptop restarts as soon as you plug into an ac power source. Works fine on battery or in safe mode. Saw online that some models have got the same problem. Its got to do with the capacitor on the motherboard. The Nec/Tokin capacitor to be exact..but dont know if the l750 uses the same one

that was the most unhelpfully boring walk down a road that i, nor my family, and/or anyone else that is seeking "help" should have to travel. because of this i and my cohorts are now dumber. a helpful tip - dont listen to this guy (i mean watch) as there is no sound minus the drill. so in my opinion save your self the hassle of where or what to do with the remaining 17 screws. Instead, find out at what time oprah comes on in your time zone and waste your time on that.that is, if you value your life in any means. yes, unless of course you are bored or tired of the same ole thing and uh fancy yourself a thrill seeker and just need something new to try.
