Just watched the Cole Porter story with Cary Grant. Love Love the music. I have seen the movie about 5 times just to listen to the music. I think he is one of the best from back then. His music was so much deeper compared to most of the music of the 20's and 30's.
I love this facination of music and sound of COLE PORTERS singers. I case this Ella; even better. The americans CAN DO IT. In case II would be jalouse, it would happend by these masterpieces. but there is no need for it thaks to to this MASTER.
Hi Sheila Thanks for the comments. This was one of my early videos. I remember doing a lot of research on Cole Porter which I really enjoyed. I'm getting more lazy and produce videos a lot quicker with less research nowadays. However I have produced a number of videos on a number of America's great composers. I've done George Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin and Sammy Cahn. The music is great if you like the old classics. Thanks and have a great weekend.
