I mean everyone knows he is a very slow starter (maybe work out once in while) and has single handedly lost his previous teams (HH & Aussie National side) matches with this slow-go approach; and these still keep sending him to open the innings!.. With the reduced PP overs (just 4) you need players who hard from ball one and still they send this guy ?? Some of the team selections in BBL really surprise me.
Strikers lost this game. They had it in the bag but played it safe. Don't mind if they lose swinging but getting 3 in an over on the power play they didn't deserve it.
Any explanation for bowling our two worst bowlers in the power play and the last over? Our tactics continue to be infuriatingly dumb. We're relying on individual brilliance and our game plan is just poor. We'll do well, but get the tactics right.
