i am about to go to camp in nc for 2 weeks and there are literally no devices whatsoever. i have to write my family and friends lol. You are literally posting right before I leave which is amazing because we have embroidery floss at camp and to keep me busy when i'm bored, i just attach them to my hydro and knot and make my cabinmates bracelets. thank you for all your helpful videos that have kept me entertained and busy for months! you're so aesthetic>> love you sm and i hope that you're smiling :))

I can’t find a tutorial that fits for me, and the ones that i find are either in a different language or used black string. I can’t find the right tutorial that helps me understand and your videos have helped me understand alphas WAY better

I know this video was a year ago, I'm new to this. I have some stuff from amazon, no idea what it is, has frayed ends and look like thin laces and I have some embroidery floss from the works (uk)
But basically is there a better brand of thread atall? Like with beads, the best are generally miyaki? Beads.
i personally use loops and threads or iris which can be found at michaels or hobby lobby, but i live in the states so i'm not too sure what you guys have in the UK!

hi kinsey! in your opinion, is it good to get the petra thread for bracelet/keychain making? im wondering if it's harder to work with than actual embroidery floss since it's mainly for crocheting? and if it's possible for u to answer, what's the difference? :)
hey! so i only really use it for alpha patterns. i've only used it once for normal patterns, and i didn't not like how it came out. it has a different texture/feel to it and it just wasn't for me. i do use it to make alphas tho, and while i prefer normal embroidery floss over the petra, it's still nice to use for large projects!
