Thanks for your reaction, loved it so much. I felt the same too. They really delivered a Big Bang concert again, even as Soloists. The whole show was 15 minutes and the waiting between just pumped up the aura before Big Bang came back on. You really need to watch the behind the scenes for this - its 2 parts - that G Dragon did. Its on You Tube.
You right, i would love to see Treasure and Babymonster reactions to this performance they would be so happy, also i'm pretty sure this performance inspired a lot of idols to be better performers, being there as a audience member it's different than watching on video. Btw the members still have a good relationship with YG, G-Dragon did a lot of the preparation for this comeback at YG, people forget that they helped to build the company (and k-pop) from the ground.
Yes you're right about this missed opportunity by Baemon to watch and vibe especially the Bang Bang Bang performance. Because there is a Rookie Blackpink clip them reacting to it live. How amazing it would have been to have a clip also for Rookie Baemon of the same song.
Awww man you weren’t there to see GD, TAEYANG, WINNER, EPIK HIGH, and IKON when they did MAMA 2014…heck even when the interactions and even all of them being on stage together in the end and taking a picture was timeless. It even goes back to the GOLDEN DAYS of YG FAMILY when they did concerts and hyped up end of year/award shows together. Unfortunately, that kind of interaction and or togetherness within YG is not as active as it once was… a lot of the senior artists left YGE whether due to scandals and or the lack of effort or releasing music they wanted to cuz to be honest it’s really hard to get that green light from YGE higher ups/management to release music and or get the support or team to help them. While I understand that phrase QUALITY OVER QUANTITY and while many YGE artist have said they are often perfectionists with their music and everything that goes into planning a comeback or even a debut. I know a lot of people can back me up when I say, YGE artists goes on crazy long hiatuses and with that they hype and or interests in those artists can go down and there’s missed opportunities. Oh and when YGE artists do make a come back or finally debuts sometimes depending on the artists, they don’t get the same exposure and or promotion in other platforms compared to other artists in different companies. So again, it is up to the artists or members of the group to find opportunities or make connections to find ways to promote their comeback. But hey that’s me…air is my opinion especially since I’m more of a fan of 2nd and 3rd generation Korean artists aka idols. While I understand most companies are looking ahead to their younger groups/artists and or building upon the popularity of their younger artists. They tend to forget about their senior artists and or put them in the back burner..or when they do release music the promotion and teasers of those artists is very lack luster or not as full out compared to their younger artists. IDK.. I understand wanting to invest in what is popular now and your younger artists. But please have the same effort and excitement for the other artists who helped bring life to your company too. But you know what even if GD, TAEYANG, and Daesung is not a part of YGE anymore they still support and interact with YGE Artists. It’s not like they ignore or avoid them. Once a YGE artists, always a part of YG. WINNER members were invited to Daesung’s RUclips show where they said even when TAEYANG or GD was serving in the military they still talked or had dinner with them giving them advice and etc. WINNER x IKON are still close brothers and support each other. WINNER x BP always had that playful sibling interaction and still does. LEE HI and BI still have a good friendship and have collabs. WINNER and BP was part of TREASURE and BABYMONSTER’s pre debut with TREASURE MAKER and LAST EVALUATIONS. AKMU as well has been such great seniors to TREASURE and BABYMONSTER as well. But as you know there’s also quite a discourse between YG fandoms and there’s just bad apples in all fandoms creating unnecessary drama and divide. So any kind of YG family interaction or support, there’s still those fans who like why are these flops supporting or hanging around our faves? They are trying to leech off the popularity of their faves! They’re too old, they are clout chasers, and etc. I don’t know where these kind of people get the courage to even say these things, but nonetheless there are such people like this causing issues in the YGE fandom. So for some time…maybe 4-5 years YGE family..fandom wise has been in a stand still and not as together anymore. Which is why many people said YG FAMILY IS DEAD and has been DEAD no matter how much the current YG senior artists really do support and be a good mentor to their junior artists, they still get hate for doing nice things.
