the harmony and the synchronization. each of them held their own self while still in sync with each other vocally.wayyy ahead of their time. they dont make these kind of girls anymore. Sugababes is the real OG.
My personal favourite line up was the second with Mutya Keisha and Heidi as I associate that one with my school years / childhood etc however this line up has a special place in my heart because its where everything began and it was definitely so raw quirky and unique I personally loved their (laidback quirky “moody”aesthetic/ minimal choreography) it was just reflective of the times and anyone watching an overload performance now in 2020 would just say they were in character presenting a vibe. One thing you can say about sugababes is that no genre of music has ever been off limits they have sonically reinvented themselves so much that you could never place them in just one category of “girl group” they could be raw and acoustic, sexy pop, r&B edge, garage like everything ! Best U.K. girl band of all time. (P.S Wow Keisha is so damn stunning) (PPS Follow me home is underrated, beautiful song ... the Mutya version)
So there are now 17 years running have round saying what is this old persons music?! 😆 Wow how time has passed, they look so young here. Original line up was the best and only true sugarbabes.
I thought the original was an okay song but I happened to be watching this show that night and I was totally into this version. I looked for it on YT years and years ago but it wasn't up. Glad someone's uploaded it up by now. Cheers!
The Panel was a standout show with a live acoustic performances by some big name artists of the day. They put out compilation albums of the best of them this one was a favorite, in spite of or perhaps because of the wandering rhythm.
a bit confusionary after the solo and overall between verses and chrous i noticed the tempo slowin down a bit...but anyway it s awesome that a girl group even did try a thing like this.... it just proves what a unique entyty Sugababes were/are , goin into edgy styles and not stickin to the plastic pop music industry
This is fucking amazing. I mean, obviously the Spice Girls are the greatest girl group of all time, but how good are the Sugababes? Can you imagine a girl-group coming together and re-arranging one of their pop hits in order to showcase their vocal talents like this?
caesar brighton personaly don’t think Spice Girls were the best of all time? Commercially yes but there’s not many girl group that can top Sugababes vocally
@@jayrox40 Spice Girls are the greatest girl group in history. The Supremes was not even a real group in the first place, it was Diana Ross and her two shadows that never sang solo.
It's not like they're related or something, there's room for all girl groups. If anything Sugababes should have been bigger than 5th Harmony and Little Mix, can't stand either of them.
Massiveley underrated piece of music.
Shame it was recorded on a potato
The Panel sure did capture some amazing music performances. This one is sublime.
Mutyas’s low harmonies in the second verse are amazing
thank god this is with the goddess siobhan!
I always love Siobhan's higher notes in the chorus and her verse is ethereal just like her Ghosts albums ❤️
i though it was kesha doing the high
@@amgm1996 She did the high in the 2nd verse, but in the chorus it was Siobhan, just like the studio version.
Such a great, great girl group. First lineup was the best.

Siobhan rocks
I'm team Sugababes 2.0, however the first line-up is growing on me day by day, I like Siobhan too, her voice in this song is hypnotic.
This original line up was the best.
Breathtaking harmonics right there...just lovely
Loved this version for years - great to have a visual at last - thanks!

Not and not unless they had kids at about 9
Wow those harmonies are sublime. Glad to see the girls reunite for a resurgence in 23/24.
The instrumentation here is glorious. And hello to those voices!
Always liked this, remember it being on the radio a lot back then
Pure Genius! This is THE Sugababes.
Finally!! a video for this amazing live track! :D
Simon Hamilton there is a top of the pops one kicking around some where :)

So underrated! The harmony in second verse is gorgeous.
These 3 have the best harmonies ❤️

Mutya! she has a hell of a voice! well..they all do.
Loving this version after playing all the lives ones today MKS 👑👑👑
Can we remember these girls were 14 years old in this performance! 14.......
Indeed this seems much better version than the original.
Love this song and this performance.

Thanks for sharing the live footage to this!

70’s hippie filter on
Sounds magical

They are amazing live!!
Just think they were only 16 when they sang this and wrote it 🔥❤️
15!
Gaaah dayumm!!😍😍😍 love this ,!
On Australian TV show The Panel… I remember this at the time.
Ms Keisha ❤️
Wow fantastic
Awesome version! Sweet Harmonies
Wow... i need a remastered version of this

Spice Girls are the greatest girl group of all time? You've obviously never heard of Diana Ross and the Supremes!
Your standards are quite low.
@@jayrox40 Spice Girls are the greatest girl group in history. The Supremes was not even a real group in the first place, it was Diana Ross and her two shadows that never sang solo.
@@jayrox40 I don't consider the Supremes to be a girl group. I consider them to be a vocal group. There's a difference IMO.
It was the first version of the band, I know I used to really like the red head. I’m happy to get to see Mutya Buena when she was beginning her career
Did mutya forget her bridge?
Damn did version is Rawk!!!
ALL THIS TIME AND KEISHA IS THE HIGHEST HARMONY ON THE 2ND VERSE
Utwór i wykonanie fenomenalne
Pozdrawiam
Perfection
Loved the guitar solo
Why have I just discovered this now?! It's no good now, I'm 41!
Sounds to me as if the tempo is changing a couple of times. It's very slight, not entirely sure it happens at all.
this is the last performance of Siobhan with them
Wonderful :)
Mks-Babes 4life
SIEMPRE
❤️😘😜😄
the chinese one is beautiful and sings good.
China isn't the only country in asia...
She's Filipina.
Absolutely fucking astonishing...
TEGANG SEKALI NYANYINYA
Masih remaja kan, di acara TV pula 😬
Live! :-)
I'm gonna strip to this version
pipifein :)
Keisha !
Bro I thought they were legit adults back then, they were younger than me then and I was 17 🥴🥴
love this girls,they are queens
👌🏿
Holy shit, how did Spice Girls rule the world?
It's not like they're related or something, there's room for all girl groups. If anything Sugababes should have been bigger than 5th Harmony and Little Mix, can't stand either of them.
I've always liked Sugababes more, their vocal abilties are insane. Half of the Spice girls cannot song anyway.
The Spice Girls came before the Sugababes. I love both.
Star power maybe ?
Hype.These girls can really sing.
no clue why they didn't sing this live more, they mostly lipsync'd itback then
Looks like younger Rick Beato on guitar
I like this cover, stripped down sounds nice, in the chorus I wish kieshas voice wasnt as high and harmonized better
The slower tempo on this song is to difficult to catch up with for them. They are totally off rhythm 😂
Lol, Keisha carried them through every single part.
Definitely
Keisha didn't even start singing until a minute in lol.
As the late, great, and legendary Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin once said: "Lies, lies, and more lies."
The tension is incredible, boy I'm in charge
You know how I feel for you,
Will you stop, or will you just keep going
Please don't say no, no, no, no
sugababes are so amazing
