I run the same wrapper (tanco 1400v) its brilliant, i either run the wrapper behind my mchale baler, or wrap separately and also got the static wrapping kit as well, and rear bale tipper to put bale on its side when unloading, also run the wrapper through load sensing hydraulics, so only works on demand. And Michael is a top technician always on the end of the phone if needed !! Even farming in france!
hay making is my favourite time of year for sure! if you cant justify the expense of a tedder but still want the benefits of one, Oak Farm agricultural services is only down the road ;)
Haven't watched all the video but see in the comments mention of a tedder, you can find old fahr centipedes for around £400 or less about 12 or 14ft working width so if your doing 40 or 50 acres a year and not travelling up and down the roads would do the job no problem
You must talk to my friend he makes and sells bail un rollers for feed cattle outside. He out winters all his cattle on an Exmoor hill farm. If you would be interested in talking to him, let me know.
🤔 Just a thought. If you increase the quality of feed in the last month before calving, do you risk producing bigger calves and perhaps calving problems. That's some good looking hay by the way..love your vids.
I'm not the preaching type but please wear gloves to pull ragwort, we got given a feild to take hay off to clean it up dad went round pulling all the ragwort and a few days later he went really I'll for about 10 days.
Its always a great day when Baldy releases his latest video, I would happily watch 3 or more videos a week
It's lovely to make a nice bit of hay 😊
Add some sheep into the gazing squad especially in the winter to eat it at the anusl rosette stage.😊

Great video as always ❤
Another great video
Get some sheep !
Sheep look at ragwort in the spring as a delicious delicacy!
Maybe that why we haven’t seen it on these fields before. We use to have sheep in them years ago so maybe it’s always been there.

Is that Tom Burge by any chance? I had a look at the bale unrollers at groundswell. Very impressive but simple but of kit.
Saved a fortune on single use plastic wrap on your 286 "Bales of Gamble Pays off Hay " 😊😊

Where are your gloves for pulling Ragwort.
My Mother in Law does all the neighbouring properties so it does not come on her 90 acres. She is 87 now.😊
Great video just a slight miscalculation then still far better to have to many it's a good place to be
Can never have too much feed can sell it you dont need it
Very true. It’s all money in the bank somewhere down the line.
Hire, a tedder, idea
Yeh I ought to look into that!
Goats go mad for it . They will eat it before the grass.

And you should use gloves as it can get in through your paws if you don’t have paws skin is the same it’s dangerous to humans as well.
