This game had a lot of weird bugs, like warwick dead killing you with some queued ability, or at 24:21 you flashed and got all ahri spells + flash instantly casted on you. You can play it on 0.5 speed and see it, then at 25:55 you died during alpha strike? wtf is happening
@dynhoyw I wasa ww main for a while, his q tends to follow when you wouldn't believe it would. Most times if the animation starts you WILL get hit by the q no matter what you do.
None of That was bugs tho, first of all he didn’t die to a ww chomp, he died to heimer burn in alpha… and he didn’t press q on ahri because he missed and got cc’ed
He died in Alpha from Heimer burn, not the WW chomp like he thought. Heimer hit him with the rockets and he had Liandry’s + Blackfire burning him when he alpha’d. If you look at the kill summary it was Heimer who killed him at 25:55.

24:25 Far as I can tell, Zwag's cursor was still highlighting Gnar when he tried to Alpha Ahri. For whatever reason his hit box was so big that despite hovering over Ahri it selected Gnar instead. However, because Gnar barely wasn't close enough for Alpha to hit, Master Yi instead just walked in Gnar's direction in an attempt to get closer so Alpha could go off, allowing Ahri's charm to hit before Zwag could do anything else. Furthermore, because Zwag assumed he was targeting Ahri he assumed Alpha would go off so he didn't bother spamming Q to make sure it activated properly before Ahri got her charm off. Ultimately, it was just bad hitboxes messing with the flow of the fight. :I
9:55 no, it does not. and also, he is not the only melee champ who can build hurricane - Nida Jayce and Elise can buy it too, so does Kayle, even pre 6. it just does not grant the passive ability, only the stats. old Kayle could also buy it, even tho she was technically melee, only for some time (with her E on) would turn ranged

I think it was AOE from titanic that killed him in alpha, as zwag said Yi isn't invincible in alpha strike, unlike many people think, some (not all) AEO effects still hit you.
Anytime i go against a ranged mid on yi i go dorans ring. The extra mana really helps get more w to heal the poke. Otherwise good luck getting out of laning phase.

WW Q going of while you're in Alpha is because of Riot's spagethi code giving certain abilities pre & post buffer times. The same goes for abilities like Ezreal & Tristana jump or certain auto attack resets like that of Xin. Some abilities get 5 decades of buffer time & others almost none. The amount of times you can get interupted by Malzahar in your R by something like a Lee kick even though he should not be able to kick when surpressed is baffeling & super annoying, and is all due to buffer times on abilities.
Going through frame by frame your Q should have gone off on that Ahri before getting charmed. Maybe you just didn't hit it fast enough idk, was super close.
