He is all about learning, so he counters Cohh hard. Big jokes but truly it is about learning his patterns. For anyone struggling: The sword strokes he does in phase one always go to your right, your left, then the final slam to your right again. So if you step left, right, and left, he will never hit you. He will never do "NO ESCAPE!" Or the stab and lift to lightning strike as long as you are in a certain radius of him, roughly 1/3rd the arena away. He will also put up the lightning shield more often if you melee him. When he's in his 3rd phase and loses the sword he will start doing lightning slaps and then a teleport and slam. The lightning slaps can be dodged by just backpedaling, and the slam can be dodged by walking perpendicular to how he was facing you, so 90 degrees to the side, as he will always slam back towards where he was. At 7:39 the clip doesn't capture it but this was just the unluckiest moment. Cohh dashed away from him and turned his camera, Adam does the animation in the split second he's off screen, and then dashes at Cohh as the lightning beam comes back up. Cohh also makes it harder on himself by using such a mix of physical and magic. But as Cohh well knows, all games are more fun when you play them like you want.
I love that you showed all the deaths, this was more entertaining than those sweaty compilation videos people post. I said from the first time i fought Adam on brutal that i think hes harder than Dracula, i think i died around 30 times before i finally took him down. Good vid glad you finally got em’
I managed to take him down (normal) solo yesterday after a couple of days attempt using sanguine coil & void & like 30 blood rose potions. Kinda realised that its best to stay at a fairly close range, because if you try to outrange him he just "flies" to you can grab you anyways. Instead just circle him to avoid getting grabbed. If he did manage to grab me id immediately pop a blood rose potion. Also spamming sanguine coil to heal continually (you can get a 4th shot using the right gem) helps but requires you to aim & hit. Void being a big AOE mean you can just pop it without too much thinking/aiming. That is also why i used crossbow for the AOE. Give me a bit of "air" so i can concentrate on movement/coil instead. Didnt shoot down a single beam/machine either. Also a fair bit of luck involved, espcially in the final 3rd stage where he just pains the whole ground with electric balls while you have to navigate them & avoid the big circle of chasing lightning. And he keep "fly"-grabbing you as well. So luck is defintalely needed.
For anyone having trouble with him, aside from learning his patterns which is obvious and definitely takes a bit of time to get it down... Destroy the lazers!!! For the love of god dont be stupid like me and give yourself some space to work with.
imo., u really gotta destroy the lasers.. so u have room.. and always destroy the next one when three or so are up.. be very patient, learn his moveset.. i get to learn it, and first phase is "easy" to aviod all his hits.. also one counterspell is important too imo. i really like pistols, cuz there u have an extra with E. so i like pistols, chaosvolley(to get the lasers down. chaos + 1 pistol auto kills a laser) and a shield spell of choice.. summoning ur own undead is kinda useless, in many higher boss fights. better other spell for more value. And, for all those saying its tuff, and they tried 4 times.. u gonna have to try even more then that, to get it down pat. i think i took all day the first time lol
Both of his grab attacks have the most atrocious hitboxes I have ever witnessed. Dracula is the exact opposite of this fight. I enjoyed him 10x more. I hated everything about Adam, except for his theme.
Yikes, something to not look forward to. Might I suggest if you do more boss highlights like this, that you share your builds that work. I know it's a play your way game, but I'm one who is open to suggestions from those whom have already been there.
Giving feedback as requested by Cohh on twitch - this bossfight compilation is a nice condensation of the 4ish hours, but I think the nature of your content (maybe just in games like this) doesn't make for as engaging content. Very little chat interaction (which makes sense in a boss fight), combined with fact that you are not a "react farming" creator means that this feels kind of bland as a video. That being said, I typically am someone who watches the entire playthrough on the main channel, so this may just not be my cup of tea.
One follow up - the editing of this video is really good and I think that perhaps in a different game or a different video subject this could work really well.

Cohh: I'm alive!
Adam: So, anyway, I took that personally.
The fact that he could change shirts mid fight is impressive!
Oh new channel? Glad to see ya expanding coh!

I liked this! Good video. I honestly would never have seen that fight otherwise!
Brother that was clutch, well done!
a man's slow descent into madness
Groundhog Day - Elden Ring Directors Cut.
Nice job. I never used the bow before. I should try that. I'm at Adam now and I lost 5 times so far. I also heard that Dracula is insane too.
Adam on brutal is so rough... but that was an awesome fight!
This honestly might be one of the hardest bosses in all games I have ever played.
that look of satisfaction at the end is priceless

This was also my hardest boss, I still think hes super annoying but pretty fun
Congrats dude. I'm like attempt 50. You should mention how expensive it is fixing gear trying him. Nice work!
Multiple shirts did it for me 👍 Nice Grind 💪
and without breaking the machines

👏🏼
I just beat him on normal and I got to say oh boy I am not looking towards my ultra boss rush
unholy is an absolut NONO, during his "barrier" phase your skelies will actually kill you faster
u must be kidding me then dracula is wat
Witnessed!

Was this streamed? I don't see the VOD on the YT channel.
