Exploring Vijeshwar Mandir & Relaxing in a Natural Hot Water Spring

Vajreshwari temple is a historic place. When peshwa won Vasai from portugese they had promised to build a temple in the name of local deity Vajreshwari and dis it. The temple is around 300 years old. It is around 30 KMS from Bhiwandi, 50 KMS from Thane and 80 KMS from Mumbai. It can be reached from both Bhiwandi and Vasai. Local transportation like ST and VVMT (Vasai Virar Municipal Transportation) busses are available. It is adivsable to have own vehicle. Parking near temple area is not available so Ypu need to find nearby place.
The temple is beautiful, peaceful and you relieve your stress. It ia surrounded by greeneries and a river (people have damaged river a lot by washing their auto and car, surpirisingly no action). The hot water spring (due to sulphur) is arpund 2 KMS from temple but the water is dirty as hundred of people take bath together due to superstition. These all are worth to watch.
