- welcome to my first journal entry where I share my experiences as a college student, and a simple day in my life. This video is so special to me. I loved every bit of filming it, shoutout to JAZ the queen who helped me film this Moving forward, I want to share more of these type of videos where there is a story being told (definitely inspiration by @ColtKirwan ) There is so much more I want to put out onto my channel and I can't wait to share that all with you guys. It shocks me how different college life can be in another country. My college here in El Salvador has a very small campus, so you really don't have the need to run MILES to catch up to your class (although there is a hell ton of stairs and you end up with your legs aching ngl) and I think that the part that shocks me the most is how there are literally restaurants inside campus, it's really cool! Here we've got a couple cafeterias that make homemade food, so if you want some fast food you have to walk in a highway or call an Uber to get to the mall.
Keep up with your videos, they inspire me to be productive with college and my life in general 💓💫

You mentioned first year of college in 2020: so I'm going to guess this is your junior year.
You said you struggled with learning English, Spanish is your language.. but, if you don't understand the course curriculum start with the baby steps: that's your bread and butter(get a friend to help you articulate your words and grammar, it sounds tedious but all professors will advise you on this 😅) I studied at UWF in 2008, my psychology professor was the easiest to understand,and yes I was lazy); if they repeat something, or emphasis on it will be on a test(and most test count towards final grades) if they suggest go to clinic or write an essay on something you've learn in the class that chapter do it. If they say, yes you can record a lecture or take cliff notes do it.
It's way better to ask a question,cause if you don't you can miss an opportunity to learn. If you don't like being in college(and it's not for everyone, I can agree) take a year ot two off theres no shame in it.
Better yet, write a song or poem to help you with English words(study the Root origins of sounds and names, that helped me in other classes like science and biology/chemistry cause they use a lot of Latin/Spanish words)
More importantly have fun,and smile even when you don't feel like smiling: we need more lights in the times of great struggle and adversarity

Hiii a tip from not native english speaker here. Or reader :D. Read either books you already read before in your native language so u know what to expect, or read very easy going books like contemporary, etc. I tried to read fantasy as my first book in english and i also failed miserably lol. Dont worry, youll get there!
