I actually think Bhalla was sincere about respecting his mother’s decision to crown Bahuu even though he was bitter inside, thanks to his father’s poison. I think the last straws were Devesana’s rejection (one more person who chose Bahuu over him!) and the way the entire country rose up against him during his Coronation. I think that was his “they want me to be the villain, so I will be” moment.
A unique take on this. Humanizes the character. In real life there are no pure evil or pure good guys. Everyone is a shade of grey and your perspective makes so much sense! :O
