I love the irony of a coffee table book called minimilista.😅 very timely video as loafers are on my radar for a fall trip abroad. I was hoping maybe some inspo for loafers with a dress or skirt. The trepidation comes from looking like a schoolgirl wannabe at 63.

You influenced me to get the Adidis Adifom platform mules but I could not find them in my size. Then I came across he Croc Dylan platform mule which is similar. So...can you do a video styling thick, chunky, platform shoes? I can't find Pinterest photos or YT videos of people specifically styling thick shoes like the Adidis Adifom or Croc Dylan. Thanks!!!
Now we’re talking!!! I.dont.wear.running.shoes but I’m a loafer gal! Always and forever I have fluorescent yellow Isaac Mizrahi that my old boss gave me (handme down) 7years ago and I wear that with everything look good with blues, browns, reds, blacks etc also have some Sperry boat shoes (aka even more laidback loafers) and those are on my feet from May to October and I live in Canada. I think they look elevated, there are comfy, offer good support, I’m living in a walkable city taking the subway so no flip flop touching tank you very much! I also prefer them without socks because I’m 5’3 and I don’t like socks cutting my legs and make them look even shorter. But I do thing people who wear sneakers might be less tempted to wear loafers in casual settings because in a way they do serve the same purpose

I think these are the new wide leg jeans you cut off a few videos back? Wondering if you have tips for controlling fray on cut offs? Fellow Minnesotan here - yes to layering and yes to loafers for all seasons! Especially in the Midwest. Continuing to love the videos!
A single line of stitching around hem about 1/8" to 1/2" (depending in how much fray you want) from bottom in a matching color will control the fray and be invisible. It will also keep the side seam stitches from unravelling after a sissor cut hem.
