I will NEVER forget seeing Breaking Dawn part 2 in theaters. I had read the book, and most of the people in the theater had, so when Carlisle's head came off, the entire theater gasped. And when it was revealed to be a vision, everyone clapped. It was great.
I remember people crying over the characters before it turned out to be a vision
That would happen for real if they went up against the originals in a fight.
It was epic.I think the vision twist is actually good(better than the book where nothing happens)
My theater lost their *_minds_* screaming
I saw it with my mom. She read all the books and when that scene happened, she was like “This didn’t happened in the book! This didn’t happened in the book!”

That makes sense. Had you gotten to meet him before? He's so nice in person and perfect as Ian. I got to meet him for one of The Host Advanced Screenings.
Came back to this video after reading Midnight Sun, and the coolest thing is that he narrated it! He did such a good job too.
Rewatching this because I'm going through another twilight obsession, and I can't believe I hadn't paid attention to her recommendation of Royal Blood! They remind me of a hybrid of the Black Ghosts and Muse - bless Stephenie's music taste🤌

In her interview with good morning America when this book was first released, One of the fans there asked her if she would ever consider writing a series on Jacob up and Renesmee continuing their story (obviously it would be Renesmee has fully matured)
This was Stephenie’s response:
“ if I ever go forward that is the angle I will go it would be from Renesmee’s perspective. When I wrote breaking dawn, a lot of people were surprised by her inclusion and that she existed and really, I was always creating a new narrator that was the whole point. Because once Bella becomes a vampire there was a distance for me she’s so different I’ve never had that experience so, Renesmee would be the narrator and that would be the story that would be next”. Leah would be in the story as well. Hopefully one day she will continue writing because I would love to see what happens next with Jake and Renesmee as well as her finishing midnight sun.

When Jake Abel walked up, I went stupid for a minute. Just flailing around and freaking out. I loved him in the Host and I love Twilight. So my brain just broke for a minute.

I can’t believe Stephenie Meyer went along with that introduction... I understand it’s all for jokes, but I don’t see why it should be funny. Any twilight fan would see that she is indeed Stephenie Meyer after she said she was. I could see someone doing this to an author whose face isn’t as well known and why that would be funny, but c’mon, this is Stephenie Meyer...
To the interviewer: I know you’re a hardcore fan, so it baffles me you’d introduce yourself like you weren’t.
As a fellow twilight fan, I would have loved to see you fangirl over meeting her, and all of us fans could have lived vicariously through it. That was hard to watch for both parties.
Part of Christine’s thing has always been making sort of a comedy thing, she loves skits. So this is how she did that for this video to introduce that she was doing a video with Stephanie Meyer

I felt empty inside when I finished the movies and the books I needed twilight.
Rubbing salt in the wound for people who wanted to read Midnight Sun. While I'm not one of those people, in fact I'm not a twilight fan and I kind of stumbled upon this interview, but I can guarantee that there were probably a few people who were pretty steamed by that comment. Way to go Meyer......

Added Far Far Away to my wish list. The story does indeed sound dark and the book summary intrigued me. I plan to get my copy of Steph's new book soon just waiting on incoming moola since I intend to get two other hardcovers (one signed) from The Book Depository (Heartless and The Red Queen sequel) as well in December. This interview was so much fun to watch and both writing and producing would indeed hold their own set of challenges.
When are you getting your own 'Books TV' show on one of the television networks?

That's interesting that it's supposed to be Bella's hands on the cover of Twilight. I always thought it was Edward holding the apple out to her as a "choice".

I think it might have worked better if it had of been Edward reading Aro's thoughts as to how he saw the battle playing out. The camera could have panned from Edward to Aro to Bella, back to Aro and back to Edward. *shrugs* That would have fit the book, since Aro had a staring moment where he couldn't take his eyes off of Bella, and Edward said he'd tell her later what it was about, but the book ended before we got the info.
Stephanie is so calm and down to earth! Really liked her! Crazy seeing authors and knowing the stories you love came from their heads!

Especially because you asked her so many good questions I've never heard in an interview with her like stuff about her involvement in the covers and sound tracks (which was so cool the sound tracks from those movies are one of my favorites) plus the added bonus of Jake Abel just casually popping in
That skit in the beginning is gold. :D This would be my dream come true to get a chance to have an actual conversation with Stephenie, so I'll just live through this for now. XD I was so bummed I couldn't go to this event! Gah!
