Partial correlation analysis using SPSS

Partial correlations are computed by partialing out the impact of extraneous variables on the association between two or more variables. In this video, I demonstrate how to compute and make sense of them in SPSS. I will also discuss their differences with zero-order variables.

When controlling for multiple variables (say a total of 3), do you just add the additional variables to the "controlling for" box or would you run 3 separate partial correlations with 3 different controlled variable outputs?

Add all three variables at once to control for them.
