@Scott Kendall You are exactly right PD will not kill you but like you said you could take a bad fall and die that way or a number of other ways. It has been a very rough road with this disease but i just take it one day at a time and i never give up. It helps greatly if you have support from someone close to you as i do now but it was not that way at first. My first wife did not understand the disease and ultimately divorced me. This put a great strain on my kids as well as myself but we all managed to move on. Thank God 7 and half years ago i found the most caring woman in the world that totally understood what i was going through. We are doing very well at the moment.

@Scott Kendall my grandfather lived with as ever since I was born and he helped raising me when my parents had to work. He got Parkinson when he was 80. When the symptoms started to be apparent we tried to give him medication. It slowed it but didn't stop it. And yes you are right, last summer he broke his hip. We helped him get back home but he wasn't the same the rehabilitation period really boosted his dementia. He fell down a couple of times but we managed to make it safe for him. For months everything was ok and suddenly now he has been almost three months in a hospital with pneumonia. It's been hard on me. So yes that disease is no shit. Protect who you love.

When I was working at the Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery in San Bernardino, California, I once saw his black Cadillac Escalade parked in front of the Randy Rhodes gravesite on Randy’s birthday. I worked inside and I knew the gates were opened specifically for Ozzy to visit his friend on a couple of dates throughout the year. Those visits were usually scheduled for after hours. I had the pleasure of meeting him right before I left for Army in 2007. This song is a masterpiece.

As I've grown, Ozzy has grown also. Party. Party. Party..... Oh shit, time to grow up. lol.And the fact that he has no ego is probably why I love him so much. Could've retired years ago. But he does it for the rush he gives us. Please do Road To Nowhere. That one is just as meaningfull to me.

The good times and bad I would gladly go thru again just to be in the greatest decade ever again. A time when I was most happy. Can't think of many more emotional songs. Or videos. This is a very personal video. He shows his pain, he shows his joy. I know he ain't giving up, but I am sure he would not mind either to see his beloved parents and Randy. He loves being here but I don't think he ever recovered emotionally from those losses. He is a very kind, loving 'peoples man' so when he feels for someone, it is a very strong emotion.

I think the new Ozzy album is fantastic. Just my humble opinion. This was a very moving video, I dare anyone not to cry at that, The Ozzy Challenge, lol. I really, really, really like this video and as I’ve mentioned, the new album is fantastic, give it a listen. Kel, I’ve followed Ozzy for more than 40 years, his music has been part of the background of my life.
I don’t know if you guys have seen his and his son’s TV show, Ozzy and Jack’s World De-tour, it’s been on for a 2 or 3 seasons and it’s so cool to watch Ozzy and his son traipse around the world looking at historical sights. Ozzy is a big history buff, so his son decided to go around the world with his dad and go to many historical things and funny things, he’s also spending great bonding time with his dad, something he couldn’t do growing up because of Ozzy’s rigorous tour schedule year after year. It’s a very heartwarming show to watch and I found out about many interesting facts about Ozzy I didn’t know. You guys should check it out sometime.
Kel, I know you have a mountain of music to catch up on, but I suggest you make a Hair Metal night to check out more Ozzy and also the Hair bands of the 80’s that did contribute a lot to the music genre. Cinderella, Dokken, Poison, Y&T etc.
I know Rich, you were more into the progressive rock of the time, which I also love, but I think if you check out the party side of the 80’s with the Hair Metal bands, you and Kel will be surprised at the great music these bands produced.
Love you guys, keep up the great work.......and also of course....
    \m/ Stay Metal \m/
