Nature's Neighbor - "Could You Bite the Hand?" (Steve Conte cover) ~Wolf's Rain OST~

Mike from Nature's Neighbor performs the song "Could You Bite the Hand" by Steve Conte and Yoko Kanno from the OST of 2003 anime Wolf's Rain.
Aaaand I'm BACK with another Wolf's Rain cover! This one was a doozy, that's for sure. This song is very hard to play on guitar and I did my best to create a poor man's version of the acoustic guitar accompaniment. The singing on the other hand was pure fun ((besides remembering all those dang lyrics, of which there are many))
Performing this song is almost like rapping. There's tons of lyrics and they're all whizzing by at a mile a minute. I acknowledge that I did kinda flub the 2nd line here. When watching the anime, I always thought that he said "If you were shown beautiful music, what would you say?" instead of the actual line "When you are done, you just abuse it, whatever you say." But you know what, I stand by my version. I'm actually a big fan of keeping the "misheard lyrics" in a song when performing a cover of it because it makes it so much more personal to the person singing it. It also gives the beginning of the song a slightly different feel.
Anyway, buy now all of you know how deeply I love Wolf's Rain and the music of Steve Conte. I was beyond honored when he left a comment on a few of my videos last year and I wanted to do another one for him and, of course, for all of you who have shared your love and passion with me for this very special anime.
