This is long tail cast-on not continental cast-on. In continental cast-on after making a knot on your left needle, put your right needle through the stitch on your left needle and pull the yarn through creating a second stitch, now transfer this second stitch to the left needle. You will continue to do this until you have enough stitches for your project. And your work will start as a right side. With long tail your work will start as wrong side. Happy knitting everyone.
You can’t see? They show it super clearly and slowly. Words are in no way necessary. I got this immediately after watching the first time. I think the video is perfect.
The lack of audio makes this video useless. People who do better without it have the option to mute - those of us who need verbal instructions just have to find a different video. Why would you do it this way when that is so obvious?
Thank you! I have watched multiple videos on here on this method (brand new beginner here) and yours was the one that finally "clicked."
I missed the first half of the video trying to turn the volume up. 🤦
Beautiful demonstration! It would have been better with a voice explaining what to do!
This is great demo! Nice and slow. Thank you 😊
LOVE NO AUDIO! Thankyou Garn Studio, you're my favourite.

Is there audio to this video? That would've been better for beginner knitters.
Yes!❤
So....what everyone else said......actual audio instructions would be helpful. I don't know what you're doing.

@@melybely8852 well, we all can't be geniuses like you.

Are you unable to see? Pretty simple and concise video. Seems like you are just being grumpy.
