This video is some footage from a recent hero showdown match in which my friend BeepTeeBops and I, encounter a toxic player who calls us both noobs after 2v1ing and winning a match. After being matched with the same player again, we proceed to destroy them in Hero Showdown.

Unpopular Opinion: Hero Showdown should have been a 1v1 mode, not a 2v2 mode.
Or should have a 1v1 option at least
Why not both?
In the next game they should add stipulations to it, blasters vs blasters or sabers vs sabers (with the option of the normal HS of course) and also an option where you could do light side vs light side / dark side vs dark side
They have so many options for hero showdowns that could make it amazing for competitive as well.

When fighting saber heroes, dodge roll in front of them saber-range, it will buy you a few seconds to land a couple of headshots.
Try to keep em at mid range for as long as you can

the people I hate most in this game are the ones that only use force moves to push you off the map and the ones I hate 2nd most are the lightsaber spammers.
What is worse is that they use star cards JUST for pushing people

I’ve got a story to share, if anyone is interested: I tried out Hero Showdown because I heard it was more 1v1 based than HvV and I was getting tired of getting ganged up on. My first game in I was playing my level 80 ObiWan and this higher level General Grevious was 1v1ing me for 2 rounds. I beat him both rounds but then lost to his teammate. (His teammate was really good and he was nice about it.) Then after the second game where I beat him I finally beat both of them in 1v1s and switched to Luke. The Grevious player switched to Boba *shudders in disgust* and started 2v1ing me with his teammate. After I died to their Boba and I think Kylo teamup the Boba emotes on me and starts talking big and saying stuff like “You’re nothing without Obi-Wan” and all sorts of other ridiculous garbage. I’m not really good with my counter game so I just said “Man, and here I thought Showdown was more civilized than HvV” which sparked some generic insult replies from him. Sad part was, we still won. My teammate owned the Boba and then we proceeded to destroy them in the last round. We rematched and the next game my former teammate was on the smash talkers team. Thing was, his teammate wasn’t having this guys garbage either, so when the dude started talking smack on me again and saying stuff like “Let’s see you even get one kill this game” his teammate was like “aight bet 1v1 him.” Here’s the best part: I’d already beaten him in 1v1s twice. I have a high level Grevious so I knew what he was capable of and knew how to counter it, I attribute that to why I beat him. When the dude realized he was gonna have to 1v1 me again to prove himself, he noped the heck out of the game with the excuse “Oh yeah I’m busy now so you’re lucky I don’t get to beat you this time” and me and his teammate were like “ah, yes, I’m the lucky one.” Lol so yeah that was my first experience on Hero Showdown, on PC that is. I played Xbox until BF2 came out for free in that little window awhile back. Me and the other guy ended up having some really good duels after the angry boi left, it was fun. Thanks for taking the time to hear my story if you made it this far. Stay safe and stay positive out there, we don’t want to end up being the very things we swore to destroy...

I’ve fought these people on my first day of battlefront. They chased me through lobbies and when I left to play Minecraft called me a rage quitter

Lovely message to everybody: if you go a blaster hero and your teammate uses a saber hero and you just shoot people while they're fighting and get the kill and emote or something stupid like that, or if you 2v1 somebody and emote and whatnot, or if you're one of those knobheads that only throw people off the map, *You are Garbage.*
