something hauntingly beautiful about this video - the battle scarred cars, man and machine in a 24 hour relentless war against each other and the environment in pursuit of glory; now they sit quietly at rest. No roar of the engines, no flashing lights, no hive of activity as they stream in for a pit stop, just well deserved peace. Well done to all the teams, drivers, race officials and marshals who gave us another incredible race
If walls could talk what secrets would they tell us…. I feel the same here, each machine tells a story by being left like this, the scars, paint, damage, and champagne sprayed makes these cars 1 of 1. Each priceless in its own way.
They all hold untold legacies. Each car has untold history. Stories of dedication and sacrifice. Hope and trials. Each vehicle there is a masterpiece. A work of art on 4 wheels.
Some people will never understand racing. Million dollar highly tuned machines sand blasted with road grit, oil, rubber, grime, and gasoline. The nicks and cuts from 24 hours of chess. The finely sculpted aerodynamics pushing debris across the bodies of these machines. It is symbolic of the engineers and drivers who have traveled this distance for months and years... and these are just the ones that finished. Yes, you can replicate these things with paint or a wrap. This decay was earned.
I appreciate the deeper, more emotional side of endurance racing. It's an awe-inspiring and touching story of unfolding dramas that words cannot fully explain, with the music enhancing and deepening the connection.
Cars are meant to be driven. Seeing them all covered in muck shows that they were used as intended. Same with rally cars: they look wrong when they are clean and sparkly but they look right at home when covered in mud, sand or snow.
Une vidéo pleine de passion. Merci. On en veut d'autres aussi belles. Ce que fait le WEC est absolument incroyable et la chaîne RUclips est d'une grande qualité. Continuez dans ce sens. Bravo.
No. To me it is a feeling of joy that can barely be matched. To even cross the finish line after the 24 hours at Le Mans and to take a place in this group of cars is a triumph of human endurance, teamwork, and engineering.
What a race from Porsche. It’s a shame that they didn’t get a podium finish but at least they finished stronger than last year. And like they said, dreams never end. For their 20th overall victory in 2025 I pray!🙏
I've been waiting for something like this for the longest time. You can feel the touch of the grime. You can feel the heat from the burn marks from the exhausts. That music fits the mood. Reminds me of something composed by Mick Gordon.
The most badass cars in the world all telling a unique and equally badass story. After the 24 hours of daytona this year i walked through the garage after the race just looking at the dirt, rubber, and brake dust built up on these cars that just had a 24 hour beatdown and it just made me smile. badass, although me being a racing mechanic knows that thats at least two weeks of cleaning/tear down holy hell...
These machines give pure goosebumps to me, whenever I watch this video it makes me push to my limits, the engineering, the focus, the endurance it required to complete this race from 0 to 24. Is just magnificent tale.
I think they are more like "badges of honor". If the cars could talk, they would say, "Yeah, I got this scratch from turn 5 at 115 m.p.h., and I am proud of it"!!
what a great video!! Not only are you showing us the battle scars of endurance but you are getting one more show of all the car sponsors that make this happen
Vedere le auto sporche rivela tanto di come funziona l'aerodinamica e ogniuna a suo modo parla una lingua diversa e ci racconta come è andata la corsa più bella del mondo.
The warriors resting after a hard fought battle!! So many scars, and every single one of them tells a history. Great content, and great video footage! Respect 👍💪
Love this - i was there from start to finish & this video captures the 'stillness' perfectly! When i stood here after the race it was like the calm after the storm, it was truly emotional seeing all these weapons sitting here sleeping, after 24hrs of battling!!
This is one of best scene in Endurance racing. I went to WEC Fuji in 2023 and even only 6 hours later, it was cool to see cars at post-race scrutineering.
It's crazy to think that just hours ago, they were the stars of the race, giving everything they had to try and win. Thousands of spectators and viewers were focused on that specific car, watching it circle the track like clockwork. It represented a team's hope and a driver's dream. Now, it’s almost surreal to see them sitting there, silent and alone. Everyone has gone, as if they've already been forgotten.
In some way they look better like that than when they're clean, because it shows that they are doing what they are supposed to do. Great video with great vibe. 👍
Beautiful indeed. This diplay of the machines and their wear and tear and scars tells a story usually hidden in the high gloss marketing images - but these shots here tell another story of what endurance raing is all about. Thanks!
I loved this one.... beautiful content. There's just something special about these cars that have completed a 24-hour race, a large part of it in the rain. The dirt, the muck on the cars make them look as though they've got their own stories to tell
This is so eerie. Lol Once the race is over, it’s done and the cars are restored to a like new state for the next race. This is my first time seeing the aftermath of the cars
Gostei estou esperando ô wec chegar aqui no brasil no próximo mês❤.
Yeah man, listening to this by downloading it and playing it as audio I play to whenever I need intense boost and focus, reminds of the endurance and performance these beauties had and sustain the pressure of running 24 hours, basically Endurance building endurance myself.
Couldn’t click faster! Ive always loved seeing how dirty/battle damaged the cars were after any endurance race so especially after a 24hr one! Whole time after the race during the celebrations i kept trying to see how dirty and worn the winning Ferrari was during all the camera cuts to the drivers 😂 Wish modern racing games got this detail right, weird how newer games dont have cars get dirty or damaged after a race like older ones did..
Whomever thought of this needs a bonus, and WEC needs to make more footage of the cars post race next time.... This is super cool I hope game developers take note.
Would love to see a "Drive to Survive"esque series about the the "Vingt-Quatre Heures du Mans" that goes deep into all the smaller stories behind the battle for overall win. Fords massive effort in LMGT3... The battle between Peugeot and Lambo for the final point. Action Express almost redeeming themselves. Iron Dames fighting BOP more than on-track rivals. The list goes on and on and I didn't even follow LMP2. Great race.
@@sendingit2601 Yeah that was great. The WEC is growing exponentially right now (I was at Imola, the atmosphere is insane) and could really benefit from taking it to the next level. The on-track action is incredible, the long-term strategies would make an admiral blush (See Ferrari learning from Imola mistakes to win Le Mans) and the politics (ie Ford being granted a 'safety' exclusion regardless of bad design) and we have something better than any scripted drama. This essentially writes itself, and the only thing getting in the way is the FIA/WEC itself.
Making good content even with something as simple as dirty cars. Wec is really on the right path.
This is the kind of content that no TV producer could ever justify giving precious airtime to, but it's perfect for this medium.
it's like watching WW2 documentry with dirty faces soldiers
@@M24OFGUN so true
Last I checked WEC is a racing series. For them to be remotely close to the right path, they need to improve their highlights

Some good camera work for sure. You get a look at the rig he’s shooting on in a few of the window reflections, it’s a pretty significant setup
Couldn't agree more, my friend!!!
I just effectively posted the same sentiment....
they look like soldiers after a battle just waiting in line for the next one
They look like a very rich kid’s toy after he’s done playing with it.
@@wordsshackles441 Nah, they're not destroyed. These are machines meant to do a job. And they did that job VERY well.

Modern Chariots of Battle.😃
I be DAMN if WEC and ACO get DAYTONA
Just right after this

I don't know if anyone that runs the RUclips channel runs this will ever read these comments. But I want one of these video's after every race!
Take this as my signature to the petition😍
Yeah this is a great idea!
Genuinely
He is probably. Heck the admin replied to a comment just saying "test".
This is honestly just awesome, seeing the cars after the race like this, seeing the scars they have, its just awesome
That #24 LMP2 had it rough, that pic with the duct tape goes HARD.
The music choice was absolutely fantastic. Hauntingly beautiful, fitting with the cars parked in the overcast runoff
Beautiful
One of my favorite things about Le Mans
A new level of content from FIA WEC and I am LOVING it.
More please! Lots of love for the endurance machines from all classes!
Beautiful.
One of the benefits of a wet race.
These images tell a fabulous story.
Thanks for sharing ❤
This is why we love WEC.

There's your loading screen for the official WEC game. Great idea, great execution.
Thanks for showing that side of racing. Cool 👍🏾
Those machines, those worlds. Hearts of steel, blood of fire.
Incredible. All the teams parking the cars for the photo shoot before and after the race is beautiful. Thank you for doing this, wanted this!
The cinematography and the music kinda reminds me of the pre-race cinematics in Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012.
This should be the opening screen to the LeMans Ultimate game where you're greeted to this before pressing [press start to play].
