SA2’s City Escape will never be anything less than perfection. I know the Speed Sim version is a lot closer in terms of layout to the 2P version in SA2 without the truck, but wanted to show off Race Suit Sonic a lot better, and the split screen version wouldn’t allow me to do that. Plus I think it could have been much cooler if they added the truck segment to SSS so having the full OG level to compare it to shows the missed potential imo
In terms of the layout, I agree! They're very close (minus the sections after the loop that leads into the part where you run down the wall including the iconic truck chase) but I feel like they're both designed with different philosophies in mind which is why I definitely mentioned in the description that it isn't too much of a fair comparison. I thought it was just cool seeing the differences that were there and how Race Suit Sonic has changed design wise too!
Yeah. I didn’t wanna show that off because I felt like watching the split screens would have made it more difficult to get a good look at the race suit Sonic model, so I just used a mod to add him into SP. But to be fair, the only thing that makes the 2P version of City Escape similar is that they both end at the same point without the Truck sequence

The ver in sss is the race ver from the 2p mode from sa2

[Laughing]😅, Is that Sonic Speed Simulator and Sonic Adventure 2 in 2023
i like adventure oh yea
i feel like the colors were a little too bright in speed sim
Yeah it’s a very saturated game at times
The race suit also appears in sonic rivals
Yes! It’s a little different though
Between these, Frontiers, and Generations, which game had the best version of City Escape?
I'll always love SA2's the most! But Generations is a very close second for that crazier truck chase :D
@@StickmanGuides yeah, the SA2 layout and the Generations truck chase would be the perfect version
Shoutouts to Frontiers for the crazy skip as well
Frontiers had a city escape?
@@PhilBo-fp9mz the layout of 1-7
@@UltraSTH huh! Surprised i didnt notice!
you arent supposed to use the hover board
Why not?
@@StickmanGuides it makes you slower and the race map isn’t meant to have a hover board
@@darkeclipse05 Yeah but I just wanted to try and make the level as close to feeling like the original as possible, not win the race
@@StickmanGuides fair sa2 nostalgia is peak when you replicate it as much as possible
@@StickmanGuides Used boost though. ;V
Ce n´est pas mieux de jouer directement à sonic generations ?🤔
I can't get in the races
They can be very finicky. I found that by leaving and rejoining the SSS Roblox game multiple times it fixed it
