You young folk will NEVER know how lit the 80's were. Listen to how diverse the music was. The 1980's was when this country was great. We all got along, we were all making money

Right? The 80's music was not about which tunes were being shoved down our throats via radio play time/MTV videos. Most of the songs in this vid were basic, basic crap. The YT channel Professor of Rock is quite sublime, if one is looking for decent analysis and reviews of real music.

Great first video! Maybe in future song reaction videos, you may tell where you were & what was happening in your life, when you first heard whichever retro or slightly newer song(s) you happen to be reacting to. This reaction had so many tunes, sharing those personal memories for each song, would've likely made the video a bit too lengthy for you or some viewers. Great job, overall! I was born in an odd window of time-mid December, 1967, which had the late 60's hippie & protest music. From a toddler to pre-teen, the 70's, was all about the singer/songwriter artists in folk & easy rock. Alomg with Funk, R&B, Soul, Disco, Punk, Country, Pop, Bubble Gum music, arena rock, progressive rock, early Heavy Metal, Shock Rock, Psychedelic, Post-Modern, along with the infinite crossover hits by countless solo artists & bands doing crossover collaborations including writing, producing & usually singing & performing by bands from completely different musical genres. Every musical genre was at its peak in the 70's, then, from a teen to early adulthood, the 80's was all Hair bands, Metal, Post-Punk, Supergroups, Rap, Techno-Pop, & and explosion of female bands & solo acts From 23-33 (early middle aged) the Alternative Music of the 90's was amazing! So, I'd say, I grew up listening to four decades of (what I consider) the best of every genre of music before I turned 33. Less impressed with original music, increasingly every year since around Y2K.

I must correct you, Disco was long dead before the 1980's arrived. 1979 may have had a few straggler Disco songs, but the few, if any, Disco songs were by bands or artists that were huge in Disco & had released songs that were likely recorded a year or two prior to their 1979 release.
