Hi, you can know by checking the destination of the bus, it shows that on google map and on the bus. Also when you zoom in on the map, it shows a direction arrow on the road, that will tell you the direction cars are going in and you’ll be able to know where to stand to get your bus. Hope this helps

Yes there are cause in the beginning of the video you can see when there was a red sign showing that you can come down from the bus and take the train or a cab etc
Helpful? Yeah, sure. The only problem I find with Google Maps when checking out bus routes is many are inaccurate. I wouldn’t say totally wrong, but there’s certainly some issues when GM thinks you can get a bus down some very narrow streets!

Unfortunately, Google Maps app in Android doesn't show bus stop numbers with bus stop icons displayed along the roads.
It's a significant drawback.
