I lost it when you first showed Lee in his wilderness explorer outfit!!! Soooo stinking cute!! I also love how you support his problem solving skills; you’re such a good mom, and it’s so fun to watch!
I love Lee's curious mind and how he doesn't hesitate to walk up to someone and ask his questions! It's also great to see how the Cast Members engage with Lee and are so knowledgeable. It makes me miss my days of working at our local Zoo.
Love Lee’s little Wilderness Explorer outfit! We will have to get one for our boy when we return to the parks. In our life, we are enjoying week 3 with our little newborn baby boy!
Adorable! My older son worked on his Wilderness Explorer guidebook for 3 years, slowly on each visit, since he was 4. On our last visit, we finished all the badges and he was given the Senior Wilderness Explorer badge and little ceremony. So special!
You know, real explorers use the whistle when they get lost in the woods. My boys were told by park rangers if they ever got separated in the woods, they should stay in place and just blow on the whistle. Yelling would tire you blowing on the whistle would help you be found. Works for getting separated from parents or if strangers approach! The fact it is loud is good. Maybe the whistle just needs some training so it knows when to let itself be blown! 😆
Great seeing and hearing Lee’s excitement and enthusiasm for discovering and learning. Also it’s so cool how outgoing and friendly he is saying hi to everyone!
Aww your message at the end brought tears to my eyes Ashley! I love all of your adventures both here and on SYRS! I love watching Lee grow and see him learn new things, he is such a smart and bright young boy! To answer your question, I am well! I just finished my 3rd semester of nurse practitioner school today! I’m so relieved to have a little break until the start of the new year. I hope you are all together in the parks having a fun weekend! Kwaherini!
The baby gorilla is Grace and the big male is Gino! They've been featured on the new Animal Kingdom show on Disney+ (not a suitable show for little ones unfortunately).
I had to pause the video and laugh uncontrollably at the lost whistle. There is a very strict no whistles in the house policy here after the kids found my old coaching and lifeguard whistles. No box is safe around here because it is probably an amazon package for the kids. We are excited to have our own small family get together rather than traveling across the country for the holidays this year!
Hahaha You definitely get it! Do you live far from family? So happy for you to have a nice intimate holiday season with your small family. That sounds so lovely.
Lee is just so cute...look at his full on Wilderness Explorer outfit! And is there anything better than a sleeping Dennis?😴 And that gorilla sleeping with his leg up is my spirit animal, haha. What’s going on with me?....we just put up our Christmas tree last night! I usually always wait until Thanksgiving is over, but my daughter wanted to get a jump on things and I thought...why not! I think we all could use Christmas this year more than ever.
He makes the best WE! I am so sorry to hear the whistle can no longer be found.. I do hope it's replaced by a drum set! HA HA HA HA HA---- have you guys watched The Magic of Animal Kingdom on Disney plus?!? I am sure Lee would LOVE knowing the animals!!!
Love how you have Lee dressed for this fun day in animal kingdom. Perfect.

Lee is so confident talking to the CM's, great job Ashley & Joe ! it must be so nice for the CM's to interact like that with the kids

Another great day at AK! The animals were so animated!

All veteran parents understand how often whistles disappear! Such a mystery!😆😆😆
Lee you are the most adorable and amazing wilderness explorer ever! 🧡
4:45 "He's like a little Russell!"
You are the best Wilderness Explorer Lee!
The whistle is probably lost with Connors harmonica. I just can’t find that harmonica anywhere!!!!
That is one cute Wilderness Explorer!
I couldn't agree more! :)

Just working and missing Disney. Crossing fingers for a trip next year. My 3 year old daughter refers to Dennis as the Disney baby. :)

Such a shame the whistle went missing!
Must be lost like the harmonicas my brother-in-law gave our kids last Christmas. 🤷🏻♀️😉

It’s almost impossible not to quote the Jungle Cruise while at Animal Kingdom!
