Would love to see one of the paintings depicting shepherds and their flocks among Roman ruins. The remains of an empire lost to time

In 865 the Great Heathen Army led by Ivar the Boneless invaded the British Isles. The Kattegat Sea borders Denmark and Sweden, and is near Norway, three areas which the invading Vikings hailed from (including other places). It is plausible they would have passed through the Kattegat on their way to the North Sea. The Kattegat is also known for being particularly difficult to navigate.
