      Exactly. There’s always Mismanagement of public funds, into who’s pocket is money going to go into this time?

    Oh, you think? Many of these projects were built using federal funds but the long term maintenance is left to the locals. It's a classic bait and switch.

    Interesting that Galveston County isn’t hiking taxes. I guess Harris County was somehow hit harder by these storms. 🙄

    2.6 billion. Government will never do with less but you sure will have to because we pay the taxes we have to do without the money we earn and they just spend it. Thank you Democrat party.

      @@Operator_68 only people pay taxes at the end of the day. Corporations are only collecting taxes and pass them through
