Always stop in at cafe furth - perfect to combine with a trip to the Leopold and close to all the central city stuff, without being busy. Never been in there and not been able to just stand at the bar sinking espressos and chatting with the feller that runs the place :)
Thank you so much for this short and entertaining look into Vienna's Third Wave Coffee Scene. It's a bit like Italy, I suppose. Everyone seemed to know what a good coffe is for centuries there.
Another great video! I love going with you guys through the different towns and their coffee shops in Europe. Great for this California boy who misses his travels to Europe so much! And Coffee Pirates! Very cool place.
I just visited Vienna not too long ago! I tried coffee in Fenester caffe. I tried the flat white (With foam), and it tasted pretty good! We also tasted the carnettocino, and there was the same barista.
If anyone is interested: I don't know about Wolfgangs current coffee's but in the past they mostly served WILD kaffee and Süssmund. Süssmund can be found several places, but also like in Pelican Coffe which at that level then just serves a better brew in my opinion. But Wolfgang has its value still! Especially when they have WILD, which you don't find as often as Süssmund.
@@Johannesduelund oh I believe they're serving other types as well. There are also many other cafes serving it (süssmund has the locations on their website) unfortunately I'm too broke to get the luxury of süssmund now so I'll look back at the memories and drool.
Thaks for the work. But oh, it would have been sweet to hear a little more from the conversations with the different owners/founders and baristas... And a little more about their approach to their coffee's (taste profile they prefer, and ethcis of their coffee choices).
Ahhh, we could've done with this video this day last year! Sure we'll just have to go back. Black Coffee in Bratislava was fantastic, so glad it got a mention here. When was this filmed though?.. There seems to be no fascination with masks and perspex screens in Vienna in this video.
Haha that was a lot of coffee! I wanted to make a joke about you getting more and more wired as the video went on, but Ales from European Coffee Trip has got a major tolerance to caffeine!
You miss Coffee Break, should add it in the video :) BTW last place is super cool!!! Also it will be awesome if you come back in Bulgaria and shoot a video. Cheers!!!
Unfortunately, you can't order best tasting coffee in the traditional Vienese Coffee Houses. That's why you can't see them in the video. We love the tradition though and will definitely make a video about them at some point!
So why did you skip Gota Coffee, one of the co-owners is 2x austrian barista champion. They have the best cappuccino in town and a great breakfast on the weekends.
Good question - they were re-locating their shop during our visit. We feature them, of course, on the website and posted a photo after they moved on our Instagram ☕️💪

I like how the coffee pirates owner was wearing a Starbucks shirt
It was bounty from his last raid
Yeah, we made many jokes about it!
I love this content. Makes me wanna walk and just explore coffee shops around me.
Vienna seems very beautiful!

I liked the coffee delivered in the Pelican Coffee shop. Aesthetically pleasing
That is some amount of coffee to drink in one day! Great video guys!
We did it in 2 days but it was still quite a lot of coffee 😅☕️
Fun to see the special summer coffee drinks!
Excellent video! Just what I needed before my own trip to Vienna! Thanks!

No way! I live in Vienna and Coffee Pirates is my favorite Café. I go there pretty much daily.
I just visited Vienna not too long ago! I tried coffee in Fenester caffe. I tried the flat white (With foam), and it tasted pretty good! We also tasted the carnettocino, and there was the same barista.
I love those videos! They make me want to visit Vienna more!
Great video about the Viennese speciality coffee places! There are many more but you have a great selection! Congrats!
Thanks for the tips! 🖤

All familiar faces!!! Nice video, guys!

Yessss! Vienna 😍😍
Wish Canada had an ounce of Vienna's coffee culture
Best coffee I ever had was from Bright jennys in kelowna. The rest of BC was quite sparse though
I LOVE ROBUSTA!
I can't believe you missed out on wolfgang. It was right next to Jonas Reindl, and amazing! One of the best

We filmed it at the end of July so there were no masks required in Vienna at the time.
You made me drink two shot right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha that was a lot of coffee! I wanted to make a joke about you getting more and more wired as the video went on, but Ales from European Coffee Trip has got a major tolerance to caffeine!
Thank you for the video. It would be great if you could make a tour in my hometown Leipzig as I‘m really in need for some café suggestions. 🤓
Thanks, if don’t mind suggestions without a video, just go to our website: europeancoffeetrip.com and search for Leipzig ☕️🙌
Freddo espresso in Vienna? Greek coffee culture is expanding haha
I can recommend GOTA Coffee experts in Vienna. The best coffee in the city. :)
Like coffee
You should tried Gota coffee. In my opinion the best coffee in the city beside poc
You miss Coffee Break, should add it in the video :) BTW last place is super cool!!! Also it will be awesome if you come back in Bulgaria and shoot a video. Cheers!!!
Kindly how can i apply for barista jobs via european coffee trip
wow! how many cups of coffee did u consume in a day
👏👏👏👏
When you cant physically go to Vienna, but dreaming that one day you will be there #wanderlust
Where are my beautiful old Viennese Cafés? I lived there in 1995-1996. All of these coffee houses were founded after that. Where's Café Central?
Unfortunately, you can't order best tasting coffee in the traditional Vienese Coffee Houses. That's why you can't see them in the video. We love the tradition though and will definitely make a video about them at some point!
4:14 the guy is actually wearing a Starbucks T-shirt? 🤔😐
Your hair is funny Ales

How many coffees you had? :-D
On start of the video I said: Why is he speaking so fast...now I get it. :-D
Haha, we filmed in two days so it wasn’t that brutal but it’s true we were filming the intro at the very end. I am talking too fast 😂
How come your shots were all blown out here?
after all that coffee I would be bouncing along the street..
I would love to taste good brazillian coffee. P.S: I am from Brazil
All these third wave joints have acidic coffee made from beans which were roasted for five seconds.
Right 😀. James has a good espresso roast.
Why would the coffee pirates’ owner wear a Starbucks shirt? I can’t think of anything more antithetical to his mission.
