Saving Kim James' future

In January this year, 14-year-old Kim James Olatan was hit in the right eye by a steel bar protruding from a truck on his way to school. He was rushed to the hospital for surgery. The procedure saved his eye. However, the muscles around his eye were cut. The local doctors in his hometown of Catanduanes did not have the skills to repair it. Through the help of a charity organization, Kim James came to the Tzu Chi Eye Center in Manila, where he underwent surgery.
