- This is the longest away day in the EFL! (But my closest)
We had a FANTASTIC start to the season and I thought we could continue it but unfortunately Plymouth and Wayne Rooney had other plans! All I can say is FairPlay well deserved win.
We are still top of the league!

I’m currently doing the 92 league clubs(on 78) so I know a lot about miles on the road, train timetables and cancellations etc etc. I have huge respect for Sunderland and Plymouth fans - plus supporters of clubs like Carlisle and Barrow etc - who travel huge distances. I did a 420 round trip to Exeter yesterday which pales into insignificance compared to this one!! Geographically Burton Albion is best placed. Football trips forge strong friendships and even stronger resolves at times. Enjoyed the Vlog.

Class fans, much much better than the ugly Stoke lot here before (The Millwall of the Midlands?). Hull were few but decent on the first day. Can’t see many if any topping your lads today. Never since I’ve been have I felt I have to cover up, can have some banter and all good after the game without any trouble. How it should be! Well deserved win! 🔥

Great honest opinion mate. what a great game, obviously better for me. atmosphere was great, and drank loads of alcohol with you boys and girls on the barbican, top fans.

Game of 2 half’s I was abit dubious about this game seeing Plymouth hadn’t won yet Sunderland could of been out of sight in first half but lessons have to be learnt that teams won’t roll over spesh away from home an we Gota keep our heads when we under cosh abit fair play Plymouth came out second half an took there chances

@@rubyandme7425 thank you mate I really appreciate that! Yeah we definitely look better than last season! Last season we wouldn’t have had that equaliser to make it 2-2 we would’ve given up when we went 2-1 down. Definite improvements. Argyle looked very good. I’m only half hour down the road so may be back this season again 💪

I spoke to Sunderland Fans before the match and they were all very very friendly and likeable, you come over the same mate. I, and many Janners, want Sunderland to get back to the Prem and hope our win, which we SOOOO needed, doesn't cost you in the long run. Quality fans, class club. Good luck.
