- | ABOUT THIS SERIES |
Welcome to “Faith For The Fight”, a Bible study series hosted by our Senior Pastor, Bishop Joseph W. Walker, III where we discuss the power of using our faith in God to help us defeat the various spiritual battles that we face in life. In part five, we’re discussing how to deal with opposition with loved ones. In our lives, we often face challenges from various quarters-sometimes from our own families, friends, and certainly from our enemies. These “fighting factions” can come in many forms, whether it be doubts, discouragement, or direct confrontation. In this Bible study, we will explore how David faced these factions with courage, faith, and wisdom.
JOURNAL PROMPTS:
Reflect on a time when a conflict with a family member, friend, or foe challenged your faith or values. How did you handle the situation, and what would you do differently now? What did you learn about yourself and the relationships involved?
Consider a situation where you felt torn between loyalty to a loved one and doing what you knew was right. How did you navigate that tension, and what role did your faith play in your decision-making process?
PRAYER PROMPTS:
Pray for wisdom and discernment in navigating conflicts with family, friends, and foes. Ask God to guide you in responding with love and integrity, even when the situation is challenging or emotionally charged.
Pray for healing and reconciliation in any strained relationships you have. Ask God to help you be an agent of peace and unity, breaking down any barriers of misunderstanding, bitterness, or hurt.

Thank you Bishop for this confirmation and a great reminder. I’m grateful for you and how God uses you to bless us. God’s abundant blessings, wisdom and favor.
Being better, not bitter. Being the only girl of 4 brothers. I have always been the black sheep of my family and could never understand WHY, and why so much pain from my family. But God, in all His mercy and grace, delivered and healed me from all that pain from my family to where I now see love in spite of the pain. People can not give you what they don't have to give. Gods healing and deliverance are powerful things.
"Don't let the hurt hinder you". IF GOD BE FOR YOU WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU!! Amen🙏🏼🙏🏼.
