    Hi folks, fhanks for all your great vids! You said in this that the posterior shoulder muscles/posterior capsule being dysfunctional can limit the ghj ap glide, but i don't really understand why since its a passive movement. What could be occuring at the rhomboids that would cause ap stiffness? Just trying to get my head around it, thanks!

      Hi Angus! The thinking here would be more muscles like Infraspinatus, Supraspinatus, Teres minor as the posterior muscles + joint capsule like you said 👍🏼

    Great video! 1 question: when doing the AP glice on the AC joint, which part are you applying the pressure to? Is it the acromion or the clavicle?

    • @ClinicalPhysio
      @ClinicalPhysio  2 года назад

      Thank you that’s a great question! The answer is either… 1) clavicle, 2) both at same time. In this video we are doing both at same time with the idea being off mobilising the joint as a whole as it is the whole joint which rotates during shoulder movement

    Quick history: Patient fell directly on the main body of the deltoid and has pain during palpitation in the subscapularis area (between ball of shoulder and chest for those that didn’t watch the entire video 😉) what else could be possibly injured?

    • @ClinicalPhysio
      @ClinicalPhysio  2 года назад

      Hmmm quite a few things potentially from just this alone my friend… ? Fracture, ? Long head biceps?, ? rotator cuff, considering trauma maybe even consideration for SLAP lesion but hard to gain this diagnosis from Palpation alone
