Very thorough unboxing mate, looked like you took everything out to me... even threw in some technical sounding info. I was certainly entertained..👍👍 I think I would finally buy an airbrush and paint some of it assembled, to give it that just make it look like sand, military rough and ready look.? But it would be difficult to resist just trying for perfection and paint beforeassembly with a kit so grand. I'm sure as always, I will like what ever you create and look forward to updates. Cheers mate 👍
Thanks Mick! You're right, I definitely took everything out of the box, so I think I had it covered. Hopefully I didn't blind anyone with my extreme knowledge... 🧐 I think you're right about painting it assembled. I've been building up the chassis to spray it all at once, shiny bolts and all. Just as they do with the real ones. At least I have a ready-made excuse for any bits that end up looking rough... hey, it's utilitarian! It supposed to be like that! 😁
Thanks, Steve, I really enjoyed this one! Nice to meet you in person (haha!). Looks like a fantastic kit, a bit daunting though due to the sheer size and complexity of it. Oh well, at least some of the parts are pre-assembled, or it would be even worse. I'm definitely looking forward to see how you get on with it mate. PS. My T-shirt has the number 46 on it!!! :D
Cheers Mark! Ha ha, yeah... one of the delivery drivers around here has Rossi stickers on every wheel of his van, and he's delighted when I answer the door in that. 🤣 Can't wait for the season to get going next month! I've only been working on the chassis so far, and it's been good (I'll do an update soon). It's the plastic stuff I'm worried about! Probably just because I haven't done that before. It'll probably be fine. Probably... 🤪
Ha ha, yeah, I probably should have a done an unbagging really, instead of an unboxing... not sure it would have helped me identify many things, though! Having spent some hours with the manual and working on the chassis, I've got more of an idea about what goes where... I'll do an update soon on how that side of it works out. 😁

Loving the content so far!
Thanks! 👍
Looks like you're in for a fun build, cant wait to see the end result.
Lonewolf McGee Cheers - me neither! 👍
If that would have been me, i'd have got too excited and emptied all the bits out into a pile. Then instantly regretted it.
