Toyota Taisor (Rebadged Maruti Fronx) is set to soon launch in India, most likely in the month of April. Also, Toyota has released the first teaser video of the Taisor.
This sub 4 meter crossover SUV from Toyota has been spied a few times on the Indian roads. However, as it will be a rebadged Maruti Fronx, we expect Toyota to go ahead with the market launch without any major road testing.
Design & Exterior
Although the Toyota Taisor is a rebadged Maruti Fronx, Toyota is likely to give it some differentiation in the design department. When can expect a Hyryder like front LED DRLs with different design alloys. Unlike Maruti Fronx, the rear taillamp unit could also be a non-connected one.
Engine & Transmission
Although, the Maruti Fronx comes in naturally aspirated petrol and turbo petrol engine options, the rebadged Taisor might only offer the naturally aspirated petrol engine option. However, this is not confirmed.
Segment & Rivals
When launched, it will rival the likes of Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Maruti Fronx in the micro SUV and compact SUV segment.
