You can't even manage a meeting with adults. You're not qualified to run a district.

TEA gets an ‘F’ running this community meeting. Totally out of control with parents screaming down the presenters. Then Cong. Lee walks in and takes over the stage!

We only see Mrs. Lee when money is involved. They don't need 1 more day to continue ruining these children's lives.

Why didn't they answer any questions? People are angry what do you expect, you probably dont even have kids in HISD, like some of the nosy attendees, that just wanted to listen in or apply for the board

@@LavalPOlaya Do you have children in HISD? Mrs. Lee is there to support because it's wrong to takeover an entire district because of 1 school's constant low performance. This isn't her district, its Al Green's why would she be concerned about money

@@ohreally404yes! What other reason would I be commenting with such great detail. I am sick of HISD corruption they have totally failed our children. Not one more tax dollar to these crooks.

And these disruptions are why HISD can’t get it together. Nothing gets done but a bunch of arguing, demanding and screaming. Smh

Why is this happening? Texas schools are some of the best in the nation. I have been told this by family members from other states! So, HISD is being held to the standard that the state education agency demands! Do It! How many new students do not have a grasp of the English language?

Some parents do care, but sadly some seem not too. When you can't even contact parents for a disruptive student, or under performing student to try to help that student catch up and raise grade, its a problem. So many students in certain schools with invalid contact information.

🏫 ~ So if the new superintendent hired by TEA doesn’t do a good job, then they stay around even longer than two years. You see how that’s a little backwards?
Some of you might know that even the TEA commissioner said that the current superintendent is doing a really good job in fixing the Houston school system. But he said he’s going to fire him anyway and get a new superintendent because he wants a “fresh start”.
The truth is, I think it’s very possible Governor Abbott has a hidden agenda with all this. Because remember even the TEA commissioner said that they’re taking over the Houston school because they were triggered by one school out of 270 schools that has a failing grade for too long. One school. That’s it.
