Jaimie this is a beautiful holiday card, and I love your sweet red bird! You are the artist and you can design it any way you chose!! I am old - I love traditional colors!! This bird is definitely a wren, a cardinal is a very different bird. You are so cute, I love your sense of humor! Thanks for always being a bright spot.
Hi, I'm in England & I am almost certain this bird has supposed to be a Robin which is bird we see a lot in our gardens. A Robin has brown feathers & a red breast & they appear a lot on our Christmas cards.
You've probably already figured this out, but the stamp bird is not a cardinal. Cardinals have a tufted crest on their heads. The male is red and the female is more tan with hints of red. A wren is light brown with flecked wings and has a little gold on its breast.
Birds, butterflies, etc can be any color the designer chooses! Same with flowers. It’s all just fun! Realistic or not it’s all good 👍
thank goodness because I certainly don't know what's what :)

@@StampItUpWithJaimie By the way, Jaimie, your card is soooo much prettier than what's in the catalog!!
@@lisamaestas6642 what an unbelievably kind comment. Thank you!!!!
@@StampItUpWithJaimie You're welcome! You are one of my main "go tos"when I need inspiration! Have a great week end.
Jaimie, you can make your bird any color you want! It’s called “artistic license”!! I love this card! I’m also a sucker for holly leaves & berries!
I’m so glad you like the card!!!!
This card is stunning! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!!!!
I’m fairly certain it’s a Chickadee (the beaks of wrens are much longer than the one pictured in the stamp). This is a fun video 😆.
Interesting. Thanks!!!
Watching the replay in Eastern NC.
Thanks for watching!!!

And it's a really pretty card! (Any bird can be red at Christmas! )
Yes thank you!! I know cardinals but had no idea what this bird was. Needless to say I learned a lot! 😉
