Honestly I don't care if he's Victor Von Doom, A Tony Variant, or even Tony with amnesia from his snap. I think RDJ is going to knock this out of the park and if the movie is good, Doom's identity probably won't hurt it overall.
I like the positive outlook on this. I think no matter what if it's a good story and movie who RDJ is really playing doesn't matter in the end.
I'm kind of wait and see on RDJ as DOOM. I know they said he's Victor Von Doom, but I still have my doubts on this. We'll see though.
I can't blame you, with a lot of people the MCU has run out of good will and "trust us". So a wait and see approach isn't wrong.
