    Happy Sunday! We hope you enjoyed this visit to Martin Creek Lake State Park! If you'd like to see more about this state park: more about our visit, pictures and details about camping at the park, check out our Martin Creek Lake State Park Visitors' Guide: rvtexasyall.com/region-texas-pineywoods/campgrounds/martin-creek-lake-state-park . Like our Cooper Lake State Park video, this is the other video footage that we had lost and recently found. If you'd like to see more about our transition from our Tiffin Breeze to our Newmar New Aire, check the description of this video. We've included links to all of those videos there. 😀

      One of our favorite sites due to only 20 minutes from home. Once a month there was a dutch oven group that met there before covid. Hope they get going again. Thanks for the tour and comments. Looking forward to another pellet grill video.

    Made me smile. I kept looking at the date thinking I might have clicked on a older video that popped up. 😁😁 Good to have stuff in the can.
    Some friends may be at Stella Mare RV Resort. They have a King Aire and are towing a Jeep. So they are jeep people to. Carl is hard to miss he is about 6'8".
    We are leaving for the west on 3/03 hope to see you in Tucson.

    Hey guys great video. Here in the Great Smoky Mtns of NC, trees like were bent over and staked until they took on the shape. They usually signify a trail intersection or boundry.

    Hey out there. I have been watching you silently from Canada for quit some time. I really like your happy spirit and simple no drama style.
    I am wondering how hard is it to book a stay in a Texas stat park at this time of the year. Soon I will retire (at 56) and will be looking to avoid the snow.

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  2 года назад

      You need to book RV Parks 6 -18 months ahead for long term stays. (Stays of 30 days or more)

    I love pecan pie! As a matter of fact it is my number one choice followed closely by coconut cream pie. I would have to see the leaf on that tree but the bark did look like the bark on my sweet gum. Sweet Gums are swamp trees, which is why I planted them in the back end of my property that floods. My wife uses the sweet gum balls for crafts.

    Super nice park. Wife and I stayed one night, but had to leave the next day due to the first part of the Pandemic, they closed the park. I never got to fish the lake, but hopefully next time.

    The Pecan Pie festival looks like alot of fun. Do you know if they are having it this year? I'm having a little trouble finding info on the event for 2022. I'm assuming it would be in April. We are not far from there down in the Lake Livingston area. Also, Martin Dies Jr. State Park is another one that has an island with a hiking trail on it.

    When we went several years ago, we had an invasion of argentine ants. I also didn't like the ditch with culvert when backing in. Island was nice to hike around. But with the constant hum, this park is not on my list to return to.
