Great question. Read, practice and do all the prescription stations at least 3-4 times before your main exam. Two times without having to check anyting. That would help you for sure.
Do we need to know the dosages and medication forms like tablets or gels and so on or will That be provided and we just need to write it in proper form
Thank you for you video. It was very helpful. It would be even better if you can do a video with a case scenario so we can have a more clear idea and understand even more the explanations. But again, thank you for your helpful video
Nice, i watch your every video. My exam is on 9th sept almost just started the prep, i am too worried as commons stations notes are lengthy so domt know what to do. Plz guide me.
Hi, just reading the notes will not suffice. Also, you will have to start somewhere. Find a study partner if its too overwhelming for you. Once you start, you will undertand the pattern of the exam and it will become easier. Practicing just as reading is equally important. Hope this helps!
Should we tick on VTE assessment in every prescription? What should be written on " Chart.....of..." part? Should we fill up the ward, hospital, consultant part in every page of a prescription?
Yes you have to tick on VTE assessment. Chart 1 of 2, Chart 2 of 2, depends how many pages have you used to fill up the meds. Yes, you have to fill up everything wherever it mentions you to fill up.
thank you so much doc ,
Can you also please mention how to save time in prescription station? Because, I have always been struggling to complete it on time?

Usually it is provided. However, some of the very common ones would need to be remembered.
Do we have to verbalise what we are doing in prescription?
Good question! Some people say we do, but its really upto you. I didn’t really verbalise everything in my exam.
Advisable for beginners...thanks dr🥰
