Me and my wife vacationed here in 2018 and had a great time. Stayed on the Lady Hamilton side, Romance Villa. The tours were amazing: horse back riding, Ricks café, etc. I'm surprised you hated the food, I thought the variety and taste was amazing. My wife did hate the ridiculous long wait for our room to be ready. Big up to the rum punch and jerk hut. For $50 a person we skipped the line and got the club Mobay VIP lounge experience at the Airport.
A lot has changed since 2018 but I can agree with you on the wait time and the Jerk Hut was nice. I am hearing from other individuals that the lady Hamilton side is better 😊

I’ve stayed here before, your friend in the video said all the rooms are the same. They’re definitely not, my room has a jacuzzi bath in the middle and the colours and layout were different too. I loved this vlog though, love seeing people enjoy themselves

I just want to know...would you be ok with not having access to your room the entire stay and when I say that I mean having to constantly ask security to swipe you into your room because your card doesn't work? that's one of the many negative things that happened. The thing about me is that I'm going to enjoy myself and create amazing vlogs, ( you definitely don't get to see everything I experienced ) so you sound very entitled and bold and honestly stupid commenting on my video about my experince. Grand Palladium definitely has gone down in quality. We had similar experience where waited forever for room. The food was overall bad with the exception of maybe a meal that was somewhat ok. Plus we were there when there were water outages. Likely won't return as far better options in either Mo Bay or Negril. They were apologetic, but they should have offered something to even show it's not just about getting your $. I speculate once everyone gets their post pandemic trips finished, this resort will really slow down as there will be far less returning guests due to similar bad experiences.
Your room does look like the Lady Hamilton side, I thought that’s where you were at first. When I was there they said that side was being renovated to match Lady Hamilton so I think you guys got a renovated one at a steal.

Hotel food tends to be bland. I am surprised that there is no lift (elevator) walking up and down three flights of stair all the time would have got on my last nerves. You still had a happy trip full of memories. Hoping your next visit to Jamaica will be an improvement.

Just decided to leave it alone. But we had a terrible check in process where we wait over 2 hours after our time to actually get a room, when we did get a room the keys weren’t working and didn’t work for our whole stay, we literally had to have a security open our door every time we wanted to go into our room, the AC wasn’t working, some of the male staff made inappropriate comments ( think about that one cause it’s not pg ) I won’t lie some of the other staff did make us feel welcome and nice. The food wasn’t all that. Again I won’t lie it’s a beautiful hotel but we had a very bad experience….I can list a whole bunch of hotels and boutique villas in Jamaica that knows how to treat a guest 😊 when you pay a lot you deserve the best
So, I enjoyed the video. I agree it was more of a food blog, but overall I enjoyed. Now, as far as Norman Bates (from the original movie from back in the day) I've never seen the series. Norman was a pyscho (which literally was the name of the original movie and it's sequels). His Mother was sick, demented and very abusive towards Norman. This was the reason that he became a serial killer and he ultimately killed her as a result. Ohhh thee irony. Even after she was dead she still hunted him and he could still see and hear her making demands of him. It really is a crazy movie. His Mother's abuse caused him to lose his mind. So I think Nicole is accurate. I haven't seen it in years and it was real old then. I need to see it now as an adult. I enjoyed back then.
