North Shore residents have waited a long time to have decent movie theatres to go to and that wait is now over. The new Park Royal VIP cinemas opened on April 3rd, 2019. The opening night exceeded all attendance expectations and this will be the first weekend for residents to take in a show at one of the 11 theatres available.
There are 4 VIP theatres and 7 additional cinemas. All are AVX, meaning no matter which one you attend you have a designated seat.
I'm looking forward to taking in my first movie there tomorrow.

One of my high school / volunteer acquaintances works there. I also applied here and got accepted, however I did not respond due to the new mask mandates and vaccine passports.
