Brainiac is very similar to Galactus, but unlike him, he wants to preserve all planets rather than consume them. One thing I never understood about both is why, after failing multiple times to attack Earth to add to their collections, they don't think to themselves, 'Perhaps I should attack them last.'
Brainiac also needs to stop bottling people; that has a different connotation nowadays.

For Braniac, it's probably a case of not having enough resources and expecting to come out unscathed.
A fight with Superman is going to very costly.
A fight and expecting to leave with an entire city even more so since there's also other heroes.
A full on invasion is getting everyone involved.
So it's just best to sneak in, do a blitz, and run with the loot.
However, it doesn't work.
But then superman would get involved anyway & any collected worlds would be lost as a result of a fight

i like that some Czarnians have spanish animal names, Lobo is spanish for wolf and Chacal is spanish for Jakal. cant wait for more of this.
Strange how Lobo was the only Czarnian that was homicidal and now they're all like this.

The great things about this comic are Lois spending her morning interacting with the Superman Family and supporting characters, Clark wearing a yoga suit, the Superman Family fighting Czarnians, Lex activating his holo-suit to punch a Czarnian and telling Clark about Brainiac (in which I hope he’ll tell him about he and Brainiac creating a clone, who might be the Brainiac Queen, using his and Brainiac’s DNA), Lex telling Clark that he’s the only one to save their family and to save his daughter Lena from harm, and the final page revealing many incarnations of Brainiac from the past 66 years.
The only problem I got in this comic is Kara having more experience with Brainiac than Clark, which isn’t true because Clark has more experience than Kara since he encountered Brainiac in the pre-Crisis continuity in 1958.
Joshua Williamson did a great job writing the first part of this storyline. I hope that the Superman will search for Lobo in the next part in Superman because this first part of the storyline is great. Same thing with Rafa Sandoval, whose art is brilliant and give out pages of the Superman Family and the fight scenes between the Superman Family and the Czarnians.
Overall, this is a great comic!
The name Siobahn is Irish and is pronounced Shiv-vaughn/She-vorn.
The Irish and Welsh have long used pronunciation of words as a way to protest colonialism and *really* screw up English speakers. 🙂

This writer hasn't been using Jon. There are two potential reasons behind that; either they're writers who're fan from the pre 52 era, where, jon didnt exist ( Someone to have some of the batman stories Reset tim back to robin , and ignored Damian, because that's what he was a decade ago when they had the idea)
Or
Jonathan's Insane status quo shifts via Bendis, Didio and ToM taylor have shifted his status quo superfam role and personality so much he's a difficult to use in canon.
He's got a tragic Age up in prison backstory that no writer has ever touched or dealt with because it instantky makes hima a dark tragic or traumatized character or make Clark & Lois bad parent for giving him away, That didn't match any of the stories that the writers wanted to tell with him as "son of superman taking up the mantle, going farther doing MORE"
He was suddenly boosted to a 2ND in command/nightwing like Roll in the Superman family that belongs to character Older characters like kara, connor, or steel, (who JON has very little relationship if any with, desipte being superman for the planet for like months. They weren't in his series) the two new children take away the little sibling still learning roll.
In short, DC was so quick to make jon a new generation Superman.They didn't realize that once the OG Inevitably came back they wouldn't be able to do anything with him.
And two characters with the same name, Clark Always going to be Superman, so
JON might become one of those characters that writers just don't use, (UNLESS THEY DEAGE HIM)

Tom Taylor isn't writing Superman, But he is currently writing in Beast World so naturally, he uses Jonathan with the Titans ( The 1st generation legacy characters, Tom Probably wishes he could retcon Jonathan to the original 5 because That's how he writes Jon like a mature 20 something rarely a traumatized teenager. I hate Tom Taylor's impact on Jon)
Joshua Williams, Using Jonathan and Dark Crisis was a mistake. The story was about legacy characters Taking over the mantels once, and it's the Justice League gets gone. For some reason, the League of Adults who have been heroes for decades dispans. Despite Nightwing, Wally, and Hal Jordan not actually believe that they're dead. But they still have to do a big pointless funeral So that the world can know 10 of the 100 heroes are (MIA). The world goes into chaos for some reason, And only a seventeen-year-old (because they had to send Young Justice away) Has the idea to rebuild The league What a bunch of random Extras ( All older & more experienced than him) characters that falls apart 1 issue later, JSA arrives and actually do something. Jon and a really stupid sacrifice scene, where for some reason he has to solo fight A bunch of heavy hitters who can all solo justice league, and Instead of dying instantly & Or getting back up on the Superman family You know the other super boys, Clark just saves him, and black Adam help everyone win. And nightwing and deathstoke drama on the side, I guess.
And yeah the current superman art also being written by joshua williams is about the super family. This new Brainac Are literally had an opening where our lois runs around the metropolis to see the superfamily, and Jon isn't there. Neither was he for the last two arcs.

This is a great start to a Superman event. It seems pretty promising to be fun at least. But it’s weird that we don’t see Jon. Like it shows every character in the family except Jon. Makes me think it’s intentional

So that last page did brainiac go to the multiverse as well and gather other versions of himself cause that is crazy but cool just like the Batman who laughs. Wonder if we will get any backstory on these other brainaniacs can’t wait for more.

I might be wrong but am I hearing the name Siobhan? In irish (which is where I think the name came from) it's pronounced Shiv-on. The O is silent and we don't have a V in Irish so we use bh. and "an" a lot of the time sounds like awn or on.

Getting real tired of the Superman "family" being used as mcguffins and fodder nearly every arc. They introduce the idea of all the superman affiliated characters working together with Supes, and then they do like next to nothing each arc or nearly get killed.

Brainiac always bored me. Everything he does is on a global scale and just once I’d like for him to use more subterfuge. Sure he impersonated an ai for a week, but imagine if he made plans to go over a year. Things slowly falling into place then he springs it, decimating the world
