They used to play it every year up till like 2005 or 6 when it stopped being the Marijuana March and started being the "Freedom Festival" and wasn't nearly as fun 😅
.... me and my friends had so many good times singing this song... we got a couple weird looks from some random people but it didnt matter, we had fun singing and and yelling and dancing... i love this song and the memories that go with it!!!!!
went to see these guys at park theater in winnipeg yesterday, when i got there, Johnny (bass) and Swavek was outside with some other guys they roll with, they were smoking a couple joints and me and some friends got baked with them. Alex came out for a bit. But johnny and Swavek are defintly the nicest guys in the band. When i told him i gave a cabin near Kenora, he took down my number and gave us some tickets..i wish i could have went; these guys are great! Totaly underated
my first ever bong rip was whilst listening to the song, it holds a close place to my heart, i heard it on the first day of life as i know it. thanks ill :3 and STAY LIFTED my friends :)
I can’t believe the awesome bands coming out of Canada! These guys are really awesome.I found this young canadian band called Shortcut To Last, I think they could be the next big thing, let’s help these guys out! RUclips them!
i believe that....we just saw them in ottawa and didnt blaze with em cuz we had to run after the show but they chilled and had some beers before the show....good guys
no i got into that one dude i jsut want to meet these guys again there so unreal their so far the best band iv ever meet in terms of being super cool with hanging out with fans
I remember when I was listening to this. I was in Caledon Ontario. I was a stupid kid and trusted a girl that backstabed me in the back. As they were doing it in the next room 3 inches from me. I remember breaking down and drinking my alcohol. How could I ever trust someone like that? How could I be so stupid and leave so much good behind and replace it with such suffering. I will never know....
lmao where theres smoke dont mean theres fire ,cause the smoke here smells like weed my favorite line in the song, i was singing it all day and my mom was like omgeee whhaaaaaaaaawt
I saw them in Ottawa on june 21 GREATEST FUCKING SHOW EVER Swav signed his drum stick for me And I chatted it up real nice with Alex at the merch table IT WAS SO MINT You guys are so great
LOVE this song, something about listening to a load of guys singing about getting stoned in a basement really brightens my day. Was expecting the video to be abit more trippy though, considering the song matter, but I had to laugh at the end. It's all good.
they deffinitly played and it fuckin rocked so bad. it was the first time i heard them besides nothing special and i didnt know they played ska and i love ska. it was sick. checkout billy talents videos from july 13th. they were too good!
Streetlight are SKUNK (ska-punk) which is basiclly third wave ska. They've taken the ska sound and put their own twist on it to make it a more original sound. I've seen them twice and chilled with them once for a bit after their set.
Youre talking about fuzzy jones who is a dude. he was the one who did the original vocals for that mercy part. Check out "Dust a sound boy - super beagle"
@Jocelyn Gaspar What you just found is much better music then what you were seeking. A song actually written by the performers instead of beeing written by 10 different people, whom's contribution you would never see in the final product unless you look for it. (I.E. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Last_Time_%28Ariana_Grande_song%29 second sentence, first paragraph)
i get to see them tomorrow at hope volleyball!!! to bad they are excpecting thuinderstorms for tomorrow, but hey that wont stop me from having a good time! BRING ON THE RAIN!
hey genious. listen to the words and they tell you exactly what type of music this is. "Then we go and throw it down for the world in amazement what you think we're doin all this time in the basement mixin the reggae the rock and the ska punk and dub"
i remember watching these guys when i was 16... in like 2005 or 2006 at the toronto marijuana march. everyone loved it

Nah man, they were there 2007. I remember I was with my first live in boyfriend and he wasnt around by the end of 2007 ;)

They used to play it every year up till like 2005 or 6 when it stopped being the Marijuana March and started being the "Freedom Festival" and wasn't nearly as fun 😅
During the 2000's after the late 90's ska revival went away was worried for that state of music... a band like Illscarlett kept it going for a time
Still such a good song. Thank-you MTV Canada for showing me this 14 years ago.
