Musashi represents us all. The desire to move, to become something great, maybe even the greatest. Only to realize that greatness resided in us all along, and only through being able to see the world in its entirety will the blinds be lifted.
When I saw this video I decided to read the manga because the character development looked so good. I just finished Vagabond recently and it was amazing. The story and artwork are simply breathtaking, it's beyond words. And now I can feel this video and the development of Musashi on a whole other level. Your edit brought me to this amazing manga, thank you very much.
That fact, which all call him devil. He keep training, and also became a MASTER OF ALL TIME. So, i read more than 300+ pages of this masterpiece manga, but forgot almost ALL what i read...
Berserk and Vagabond are god tier. Some of the very few manga series I would honestly say changed me as a person for the better. Especially because in both, we see the protagonist completely change from their past ways. To the point that who they were in the first volume is practically a completely different person from who they are in the last volume. Not many characters in fiction as a whole have such a compelling evolution behind them like Musashi and Guts.
Like seriously author needs to continue his work. Musashi is literally one of my favourite protagonist right beside guts,Joe yabuki, thorfinn,dr tenma, gabimaru and ryu narushima
I guess he wants to continue his own works first cuz vagabond isn't from his own imagination. Musashi is a real japanese swordsman and there is a novel having his name as a title correct me if I'm wrong.
Besides he published the last chapter of vagabond so you could know what happened to musashi afterwards but the fun part is missing where he fought kojiro i guess
@@mangaedits2745 yeah I know the real miyamoto musashi was handsome plus literally was even more terrifying than the manga one. He was literally a living legend

I've been thinking about reading vagabond for a while because I've caught up with Vinland saga and i didn't know seinen could be that beautiful and impactful.
i havent read Vagabond yet but ive seen people compare it to great manga like Berserk, GTO, Holyland, Green Blood, 20THCB etc. I assume its an amazing manga and I will give it a try

Still fictional,
Isn't connected to reality in any way.
But yes, they're good

Well vagabond is connected to reality because it's a real story and miyamoto musashi is a real old japanese swordsman

You could even see this in Matahachi. He only improved when he was able to see the consequences to his lies.
1v70 was easily the most badass arc in Vagabond

Vagabond isn't just a manga, it teaches you how to live....... Indeed a masterpiece

I wish vagabond could be continued 😩
I wanted to have the experience of reading Vagabond for the first time again

yup
Actually yes because this manga is based on a true story
he is literally me
We slowly see Tazeko smile more and more as the story goes on, not from his battle craze, but from being happy to be alive
Imagine reading manga and not learning about the real miyamoto musashi
It can't be
Yea it’s based on the real miyamoto musashi

I also like how his face changes subtly, after ending the manga I realized that his face looked different in the begining lmao
"The heavens wont be laughing."
"You are infinite."
the two hardest quotes be musashi hands down
