Please inform yourself and be realistic. At this stage of his career, not even now Jimin won't do a song all by himself. It's his story , but the song was made like almost all BTS songs , with the participation of several.
@@alifc1082It’s his story and he co-wrote it. As for now, at least he co-wrote, co-composed and co- produced most of the songs on both his albums as a soloist, with keyboard and guitar credits on some as well. The same cannot be said for some members of the group in solo era.
IMO the switch from minor to major in the chorus while he’s singing the line “caught in a lie” like even the music is trying to pretend to be something it’s not… just brilliant. I knew y’all would love this one!!

Jimin is a genius, a valedictorian, a perfectionist. His melodies are really great and his voice brings so much color to Bts songs. He is unreal.

Jimin is my bias… what an artist. Lie is one of my favourite songs.
Suga saw the quality in Jimin's voice right away & knew he would be an extraordinary vocal addition to the team. Minstradamus always knows!
Also, forgot to say Jimin is responsible for many melodies in BTS songs, such as for Blood, Sweat and Tears! Regarding his voice, many consider Jimin’s voice as the watermark on BTS songs!
Jimin is just an all around talented performer. Unique and beautiful voice and a spectacular dancer. I really enjoy watching and listening to him.

Jimin’s voice, his vocal colors & tones are so unique, so special & a bit unreal sometimes that it is really hard to describe in words.
Honestly for me there is no comparison.
Furthermore he has natural emphatic ability to understand the emotions of music so instinctively & he has amazing gifts to interpret & portraits those emotions so beautifully through his unique voices & his elegant dances that his many performances has really touch many people’s hearts & souls.

Jimin needs to watch you guys talk about his voice and singing because he is his own biggest critic, always saying how he is lacking, how much he needs to learn and grow. And although generally speaking that is not too bad, I think he needs to realize how good he actually is and see this praise come from pro musicians like you two. ✌️
I love hearing you guys talk about how special Jimin’s voice is. He is so critical of himself, never thinking he’s good enough. I guess that perfectionism is part of why he’s so good. 🤷🏻♀️
Whenever this song appears on my playlist, I have to re-play it (at least thrice if I'm really being honest) and pause for headphones or earbuds connection so that the music and Jimin's voice can be transported directly to my eardrum and then to my soul! No exaggeration!!

NOW you're getting into what makes BTS different from any other artist, group or individual. It's the individual talents of each member (as well as their own preferences for sound and genre), and the B-SIDES!!!!!!!! The b-sides are where the BTS discography goes absolutely wild.
Agreed! BTS is truly greater than the sum of their parts .... but the parts (the members) start off amazingly awesome. And if one is lacking or off in an area; there are at least 6 that could make up for it.

What are you talking about? He wasn’t ACTUALLY ‘caught in a lie’ and nobody told him to sing about it! The song is about himself - it was inspired by him. Nobody told him to write a song about being literally ‘caught’ in a lie.

I heard this from their own mouth, not from a news article. How long have you been army? cause you should know this. They are very honest people who write about true life experience.
It's a musical lie guys. Their production often tells part of the story in their songs. This song is about losing yourself in a lie you tell about yourself. The uplift on the chorus to the major chord is a lie. He ends the song on the minor, still caught in the lie.
What a great reaction. I love how appreciative others are of Jimin's unique voice. This is why he has so many antis, jealousy.

Live is great but you need to experience the production on this song with the studio version. You'll understand why this song was on my repeat and repeat. I couldn't get enough of it. I could listen to it all day long and probably did for a very long time. The live uses some different instrumentals than the studio version. It's worth listening to. There's also other lives that you can hear his live vocals a lot better and he didn't have the prop malfunction with the blind fold. He said kinda hard to hear so, do me a favor and listen to the recorded version. We'll come back to watch it with you.

You can still be OT7 and have a bias. Having a bias isn't a solo stan. Solo stans don't respect or acknowledged the other members or their work.

Lie is one of my most favorite BTS songs, the performances are one of my favorite of their performances, and the fact that Jimin wrote the lyrics and also was involved in the composition of the music as well as dancing and singing it at this level live is amazing. Can you believe that there are people who insist that Jimin can’t sing? SMH 🤦♀️

Also the minor to major change happens EXACTLY when the lyrics go from lying to yourself and others to being caught in it. Like you can pretend you're ok but it's fake... And what people get from you is in major (like a mask) but for you... you feel in minor all the time.
I also recommend listening to this song not as a live performance too so that the cheers don't drown the music arrangement for you 😊

Lie is one of the best songs not just in kpop. I believe it's one of the best songs ever. You should listen to the original audio in Apple music/YT to study the layering. It's a masterpiece.
