I'm in! These look really good. Do the optional lights flash like that or is it strobing caused by the camera shutter speed being out of phase with it?I like the idea of lights...but that blinking isn't scale like the rest of the jeep.
That's something standard on MiniZ, ch4 controls strobing, from slow blinking to always on. You can do it with minimum knowledge, it is quite easy, no optional part is needed, just 4 leds and some wiring.
It’s common for LEDs to appear to blink or strobe on camera. All LEDs strobe, but at such a fast rate that it is usually imperceptible to the naked eye. On camera, however, the strobe frequency of the LEDs does not sync with the frame rate of the video recording device, so you are able to see the instances where a frame is captured in between the strobes of the LED. You would not see it like that in person. Only on video.

I hope they fixed the slipper clutch issue on these. I gave the 4Runner a chance but after 4 days the slipper clutch started acting up. Kyosho customer service wasn’t very good and luckily I was able to get a refund from the place I purchased it from. FIX IT KYOSHO! For $200 it shouldn’t be shipped with defects.
In the email I got from Kyosho they even admit that the bearing in the slipper clutch doesn’t sit properly when they assemble them, but they still ship them out.
From customer service, they wanted me to pay for shipping after only having the truck for a few days.
We can have you send it in for inspection and service. (again it sounds like a slipper clutch issue, (it slipping too much).
**You can also try to re-set the slipper clutch by following these steps: The bearing on the slipper shaft
does not sit correctly inside the gear box when it was assembled.
In that case, pulling the spur gear (=slipper) to the rear side will correct the
location of the bearing. (Please refer to the picture attached.)

Cool Jeep's! You missed the mark on the colors though. Why not paint them using vibrant Jeep Color's. The Bikini Pearl paint would have been cool or the green or orange.

Why are the lights flashing
Cameras cannot properly capture the hertz rate of most LED's. Look at most car headlights on videos now adays. They'll be blinking too. :) EDIT: On a second look, looks like it is actually meant to flash.

Meh jeep sales since 2014 have actually doubled. They sell over 200k of them things which kinda sucks because the price keeps going up.
