- We need to address the identity crisis going on today, where people are manifesting many symptoms of losing who they are or never knowing who they are to begin with.
Melissa and I both talk about 7 signs that you may be in an identity crisis, while also sharing about what to do about it. It is important to know that the majority of our battles come down to a lack of identity. We either forgot who we are or never knew who we were to begin with. Identity is everything.
Jesus was tempted around identity. So you need to know that you will be tested in your identity. So how do we get our identity back? How do we get stronger in our identity?
We get the wheels turning as we discuss an identity crisis, while giving you some practical steps to take back who you are.

I love the idea of going into interactions, and not starting with the typical "what do you do for a living, etc.". What kind of conversation starters would you suggest speak to the essence of who people are, rather than what they do?

How do I find rest in my journey and not become obsessive over my healing with God? It feels before me everyday like I don’t know how to turn it off. It’s pretty much on my mind 85% of my day especially during the week when I’m listening to teachings etc. Usually to turn it off I do things like watch a good movies, scroll social media, watch other things on RUclips etc. How do I stop and just be when I don’t know my identity or how to experience Gods love and abide in it daily....as that’s the journey I’m on
Sounds like its become an obsessive compulsive issue, which I can relate to. Check out some of my videos that relate to OCD and I think it could help a lot.

I deal with this as well I’m glad to hear I’m not alone.
Growing up I was never told what anyone wanted me to be .I was defined by what they wanted me to stop.I wasn’t allowed a personality at the mental hospital.It was seen as my illness.In their eyes I was Chronic schizophrenia”:I was sure they wanted me to be like a puppet.or an empty shell to please them.Only doing what I was told.I HAVE NO IDEA WHO I AM.
