I recognized and stopped Dua on a street in NYC east village last summer.. and told her how much this album was helping me, and how I was working out to it every day! Hope she remembered me when she mentioned this in the interview. haha

she deserves everything she has right now. i watched her grow with her first album and i am so proud of how far she's evolved as an artist. i definitely needed the moonlight edition in my life

Future Nostalgia was my 3rd favorite album of 2020 behind Folklore and Plastic Hearts. I knew when I heard New Rules she would be somebody to watch. Never got tired of that song by the way!

I love that she was honest about that feeling of wanting the confidence and writing it into existence. As an artist but especially as a singer songwriter, you’re performing material that either you felt in the moment or want to feel as wish fulfillment or reflect on feelings you’ve had and making the distinction that you don’t always feel that way but writing them is a way to open a portal to the possibility of being that thing. Sometimes you feel it when you write it and sing it when you need to remember how it feels. Musical time capsules! 🎶 Plus the female alpha line is so baller and made me feel ever so confident on my runs.
I am confused though Because I heard “We’re Good” on the first edition of the album when I listened to it released by slacker radio/live by live. Is it not there in the printed version?
