TIP #4. Learn how to AIM like TenZ Only on Aim Labs: aimlab.pro/valorantfps
This short helped me more than hours of videos I have seen of Valorant basics here in RUclips
Appreciate it
Stop the cap
2nd tip is actually wrong if you genuinely want to improve, it is "better" to keep player centered while altering other settings to still see the entire map, why? so you can peek off your teammates using map info, it is so much easier this way and it's also what pros mostly use
@@fxxtickyx pros use this because they have great communication it is better to turn off this setting in lower ranks because not many people communicate down there
@@hippo5748 not really, you use this to *trade* which doesn't need any communication, just sticking to your teammate at a close distance and after he peeks you look at the minimap > preaim> peek & shoot. You teammate doesn't need to tell you to trade him so you'd trade him, especially when pushing a site...
The only argument against this is in a situation where the enemy is somewhere known, and ur ally runs off while you're not paying attention.
Also, you didn't give a reason to why it should be off, because you can still see the entire map, and locate enemies/ understand the map much quicker (if you're used to the other setting it doesn't matter but it's easier this way)
No. 4. It's the most important and might be very hard to do but its the point of the game:
Enjoy playing, play with friends, make new ones.
nono.. to improve you don't play with friends. and you're not meant to enjoy
@@zemoxtmight as well not playing valo if u dont enjoy playing the game
@@pipeyyyyy8196 fax
Sounda very copium
@@pipeyyyyy8196 way too many people play for the rank
I know people who see unrated as a "waste of time"
"Soo HUG THAT BLACK SPHERE" 🌚🌚
same as hug your mother
Just wanna say that “Keep Player Centered” is actually a very good setting that can help you a lot to line up shots using the minimap when you’re smoked off or just for minimap refragging in general. Try setting it to its max size, and then scaling Zoom down to around .6 and you can get the benefits of keep player centered without losing portions of the map
This
I dont use player ceneterd and I can line up just fine. Sounds more like a preference.
@@asdrolme also, it doesnt make a difference
"Don't otherthink things" doesn't work for me, I main killjoy ☠️
Killjoy is telling you the player to not overthink, she is the most simplest sentinel to use, just enjoy the game
@@IDontLikeHandIes "Simplest "LOL, you should see how I play KJ.
Ikr I main cypher 💀
@@ootengu1362 Lmao same. I know I did my job right when the enemy team never goes to my site, after that I can stop being tense 🤣
@@HerozOfficial meanwhile me who plays Sage listening to my teammates opening their mics only for heals or res rather than important callouts or strats.
Love these. Helping me learn the game so much.
Another suggestion: trying playing agents that *force* you to play a different playstyle, so later when you switch back to your mains you know what's going through your ally's minds when plays are being set up around you.
I main more defensive agents like Sage and Cypher, but I've recently switched over to Omen to try him out and now know what an aggressive Omen main expects from their teammates and specifically when.
don't have an ego, you're in silver for a reason. Play to get better and adjust to the team you're playing
If someone is silver they really just need mechanics, beyond gold or plat you start thinking and learning your main
“Dont make things complicated”
-Yoru mains breathing heavily-
I swear I overthink things and end up messing up even more
There's a difference between thinking and being hesitant, i feel like the video is trying to get us in flow state with subconscious actions but when you are improving you need to focus and think of your weak points, but never hesitate, it's a game about timings
wait 1st tip actually helps so much lmfao
Last tip is very true , dont be like Prod
@@fueledbymiikteaprod is a really good streamer and val player
Prod isn't overthinking he's just trolling kekw

This is probably some of the best valorant advice ever. Short concise and i learned something new
be confident is so important
Yea but what if you have utter garbage teammates? Who give up after first 3 rounds and start typing GG in all chat lmao this game actually has the most dense kids
Surprisingly this is very good tips because i use em in my game except the First tip that one is Huge info, i never knew that 😄
Well now you do.
Bruh
i love these shorts keep them coming. short informative and helpful asf
I remember back then death by spike did not count but now my death goes up when I die to the spike
How did I not hear the three *more* tips the first time
Wow been playing for more than a year and it's the first time i've heard of the pistol creds thing, thanks!
The map centre really helped me.
I think spike explosion doesnt count as dying now
These are all genuine tips that I’ve needed/wanted to have, thanks!
Such useful tips!
I get so nervous so fast 😂, especially when am last player standing 😭, still working on it tho.
Same 😂😂😂
The last tip is definitely helping me a lot
keep player centered better ngl
you can spray people thru smokes or wslls easier from minmap
fax it's quicker too
I think it’s a matter of personal preference, and it can be hard to switch, but centered off allows you to simply see more. I’d recommend any new players to start with it.
The spraying through smokes argument doesn’t really work, it makes a tiny difference there, and honestly spraying through smokes is mostly gamesense and crosshair placement
@proguidesvalorant you can zoom out the keep player centered minimal, helps with minimal refragging
It makes minimap redrafting easier (for most people)
Me as the last guy standjng in pistol round refusing to defuse the spike :D
Best tip on this video "as long as you HIT THE HEADSHOT" 😂
Thank you, gonna use it
Oh you made me realize that’s why sometimes I play so good and sometimes so bad, I overthink stuff a lot
Thanks really helped me💪🏼
This one was really helpful
This is good my friend this definitely deserves a destined 10mill subs
The map one is faxx for the people who plays information agents
Keep it basic.
Fucking SEND IT.
Most pro coaches do not reccomend the 2nd setting, usually you wanna use the map to line up kills and trade teammates playing off the map, much harder to do so without radar locked on you. You can still make the map fill out without turning that setting on
I like not centered but still rotate, i can trade my teammates and see the full map without much lost space
As a beginner that was rly useful thx bro
Greates tips dude Nice!!
No2 is really useful, thanks
Surprisingly good tips
“Don’t overthink things”
Astra mains: I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear that
Last point was actually useful
"And be confident"
Can i get a tutorial on confidence too?
Im so sleepy that I watched this 3x in a row before I realized it was on loop.
Him: keep it basic
Me: rushes into the enemies even when im defending
Guys I've been watching this video for 30 minutes he keeps adding 3 more tips
Center your player on map so you can spray through smoke easier
"As long as you hit headshots"
*Me having an anime battle for 15 seconds spamming classic and missing 90% of shots with my enemy* :
Yeah yeah good point
Good tips. I agree 👍
no. 3 "hit the headshot"
me only somehow hitting head while barely looking at the screen:
I super need the last tip. Thanks
*just hit your headshots*
Me: now that's where the problem starts
The last is the most important, you’ll realized that when you have a lose streak, that’s because you are over thinking every single round. Keep it simple
i wish people would learn the last one, everyone in diamond tries to use every ability in every fight which is good but not when u constantly get caught with ur util in hand
Thanks for the tips I’m new and kinda decent at valorant
Dude I guess I'm privileged enough to already know this since day 1 but I guess not many people do
Bro when i play confident i always die
Facts bro, I’m from CS:GO and switched to Valorant and at first it was hard for me because IDK shit about agents abilities except for flashes and smoke or blind and molly. So from silver 2 to platinum 1 I used brimstone reyna or omen 😂
My issue with locking the map is I always feel like the map is upside down for whatever reason, it takes me longer to comprehend it.
3rd tip is the most important one! Higher elo - easier plays, but just faster as you go higher. Same in CS.
Took me 4 hours before I realised that the "3 more tips" were the original 3 tips on repeat
keep player centered on please, it makes minimap refragging 10x easier, which is way more essential than being able to see the other site (even if teammates arent comming)
"Just die in the pistol round via spike to save points"
Match Point: Im about to end this man's whole career
True, noticed the first tip in vCT lock in tournament😂 I was wondering why they willingly try to go and die from explosion if they could have run away, then I got it xD
“Don’t overthink things, Radiants aren’t flawless”
Me in Iron, where the opponents rotate 3 times in a single round:
The last one is ESSENTIAL. I was losing shit bot fragging, badly whiffing, can't even win the contest, and all, but the fkn moment I chatted with a friend white playing and not caring about how I play, I aced 6 times in 3 games💀
last tip was actually good
someone must keep telling me the last tip every moment while playing
When you say dont overthink it makes me overthink more LOL
Nice edition, nice explanation, nice voice. Dude I need you to make content to get my life together
I used to know the pistol thing but i forgot! Thx lol
Another Tip I have for better aim.
When moving your mouse you may or may not push against your mousepad or mouse surface. I recommend not doing that as your aim will stutter a bit and will make it inconsistent, tell your self to glide your mouse around the mousepad and not dragging it very roughly. May or may not help but it worked for me.
Yet another upload from zero. This is ganna be good.
keeping it simple is most important advice.
Love that cat cursor
My team say we gotta do this and this. As a Jett main. I say when you see me dashing just throw everything
As chamber says
"Just aim, then fire lets not complicate it" or somthing
ok but what if i had heavy shields and i picked up an opponent's sheriff
It depends, if it’s the first round you lost in a row, sometimes you might want to save, assuming your full shields are intact. But any other situation you need to die to spike
How you got heavy shields with 800
@@syrukai2257 not every pistol round is the first round, it could be a save round
@@syrukai2257 he didnt mean the first round airhead
@@durdurdur3139 pistol round is always first round of each half. Save rounds are not the same
"Hit the headshots"
Thats exactly me problem
fr i always told my random teammates and they don't want hear me,they saving for a CLASSIC💀💀
Also full buy if you won pistol! I see in low elo they sometimes don't do it and lose the buy round when they could win if they had a spectre/stinger and full shield. In general if it's a save round for an enemy buy a full shield (having light shield on buys is ok and sometimes even a better decision, because enemy has vandal/phantom/guardian/op and this +25 shield 90% of the time won't save you as minimum dmg of 1 body shot is more than that, but it will def save 600 cred). I saved some money like that and was able to buy a gun every round or buy for a teammate. Also guardian is underrated.
You forgot to add that dying to the spike in pistol round gives you another point for your ultimate.
These have all been mythbusted
Another thing is unless you directly are saving for op round 3 spend as much as you can on pistol round
high-elo players use minimap centered on player + rotating map to frag through smokes on enemies their teammates (or cam/drone) see
they zoom it out a lot tho so if you're not used to the maps and need to see it bigger then do this later
So thats why im Bad after 3 years and never got good thx bro😂😂
Can you tell me where you got the cat cursor?
hug that black sphere
Hey bro, thanks for the tips! Also what is the code for the crosshair you use, I’ve been trying to find one like tthat
Hemisphere 😂😂( take math class 😂😂)😅
the 2nd tip, thank God dude, i was super annoyed about that 😁
Tip 1 is useful now, but back when Valorant first came out, it didn't work like that. Riot made the change because they were tired of people always saving and wanted to see more hype comeback plays. The spike death change was made just to accommodate the first change
The 🗿bgm just motivated me for study
i dont play valorant but thank you for the tips
Deaths by spike did count in the past it dosen’t anymore so that’s good
Here's a bonus tip whatever has the fastest fire rate to accuracy use that and spray at head level around corners to get free kills
No. 1 : have fun its a game
I think the second tip is really just preference i have my map on the player and i still see the whole map
"keep it simple"
Neon mains: 💀
